"It is impossible to have religious freedom in a nation where Churches are licensed to the government." -Congressman George Hansen

Many Pastors pride themselves in saying "Our Ministry is Incorporated and 501(c)3 registered" without even knowing what they are saying. To all the Apostles, Bishops, Senior Pastors, and heads of ministry here on BPN, I have a very important question to ask:

HAVE YOU ACTUALLY STUDIED WHAT THE 501(C)3 OR ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION DOES AND/OR WHERE THEY CAME FROM??

I spoke on this subject in a previous post, and yet it did not get much attention. And now I see an advertisement on Black Preacher's Network for the 501(c)(3). I have nothing personal against the individual(s) that are apart of that advertisement, nor do I have anything against those who have a 501(c)(3) on their ministry. However, it is absolutely FOOLISH & IRRESPONSIBLE of a leader of GOD's ministry to go and sign their Ministry up for something without fully understanding what they are linking GOD's Kingdom work with.

I had to do some digging when I was developing my ministry. Few people wanted to really help me out, and the kind of help sounded like a good idea, but not the GOD idea I had. I prayed and wasn't settled. I began to start studying the process myself, and I found out some startling info.

* A corporation is “a creature of the State.”
* The State is "sovereign" over the corporation.
* The corporation is “incorporated for the benefit of the public.”
* A corporation is a State “franchise.”
* Incorporation is a State “privilege.”
* A corporation is “subject to the laws of the State.”
* “Its powers are limited by law.”
* It must “obey the laws of its creation.”
* A corporation has no constitutionally-protected rights.

Also, for a 501c3 church to openly speak out, or organize in opposition to, anything that the government declares "legal," even if it is immoral (e.g. abortion, homosexuality, etc.), that church will jeopardize its tax exempt status. The 501c3 has had a "chilling effect" upon the free speech rights of the church. Lyndon B. Johnson was a shrewd and cunning politician who seemed to well-appreciate how easily many of the clergy would sell out.

Deuteronomy 7:2
"And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:"

Joshua 9:1-12,24
"And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof; that they gathered themselves together, to fight with Joshua and with Israel, with one accord. And when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done unto Jericho and to Ai, they did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up; and old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the bread of their provision was dry and mouldy. And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us. And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you? And they said unto Joshua, We are thy servants. And Joshua said unto them, Who are ye? and from whence come ye? And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt, and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth. Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us. This our bread we took hot for our provision out of our houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy:.........And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing."

Taking the 501(c)(3) is the EQUIVALENT of Joshua being fooled into making a covenant with the men of Gibeon. Don't sit there and sign on the dotted line in total ignorance! Ignorance will NOT be a good enough excuse when GOD checks your Ministry and finds that it is bound with the Kingdom of this world..........

be blessed, speak blessed.....
to be a blessing, & speak a blessing.......

Trevor the ministry I have with my husband is 501c3, and I have to say that we have not encountered any of the problems that Gibeon encountered.

1. A corporation is “a creature of the State.” it is also a any group of persons united or regarded as united in one body.
2.* The State is "sovereign" over the corporation. our sovereignty is God and God only!
3. “Its powers are limited by law.” the law states that a faith based organization may teach the doctrine of that organization

for the other stipulations yes you are correct, Incorporation is a State “privilege.” whenever this privilege goes against what we believe according to the gospel of Jesus, it becomes a privilege we simply need no more.

The bible teaches us Luke 16:8 .....for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

it is a lesson that we the body of Christ have to be wise in business just as the unjust steward (the world) was wise, however we must know when and where to draw the line
Gibeon did not encounter the problems with the example that I posted, it was Joshua who had the problems. He was not to make any deals or pacts of unity with the nations of that land, but the men of Gibeon fooled him into it for their own benefit in order for Joshua to not come against them. Likewise, the 501(c)(3) is specifically designed to hinder the voice of the Church so that it may not come against the United States or speak up for or against an elected official. To violate such is to lose your tax exemption under 501(c)(3) rules.

1. "It is also a any group of persons united or regarded as united in one body." This still does not negate the fact that it is a creature of the state.
2. "Our sovereignty is God and God only!" Thats may be true in your eyes, but the state has a contract that says otherwise.
3. "The law states that a faith based organization may teach the doctrine of that organization." These laws also limit a religious organization's activities. For example, the preaching against homosexuality will soon be hindered, and is already hindering certain activity. You haven't noticed because it hasn't directly effected you..........yet
This certainly explains why so many churches, especially the mega churches are silent when it comes to moral issues. They talk about sin like it's a generic condition - they never get into the specific areas of sin, short of adultery, fornication and lying. And they certainly won't touch the government and its corruption, let alone the NWO. All because of their tax exempt status that has them in bondage.
You got that right Sister Harris. Now we can see how the commandments set us free. This is what Jesus was talking about when he said the truth will set you free.
Yes, Hezekiah.

As individual believers, there is no reason for us to remain silent. It's not necessary for us to get radical or aggressive, but we certainly should take advantage of every opportunity that avails itself to spread the truth, and at the same time, pray for the lost and dying souls.
Amen!

Good Thread Brother Trevor.
Thanks Hez....
Well in the bible belt, we don't play that, there is a difference between saved and unsaved, holy and unholy, and again when this privilege goes against this it's a privilege one doesn't need any more. We would lose our tax exemption and keep Heaven
We are not going to Heaven.
Another subject for another time and place please........
