This is where the rubber meets the road. We truly preach Messiah, but do we know where Moses wrote about Him? Jews really attack us here, and many do not have an answer. Understanding where Moses wrote about Messiah is the foundation of understanding Messiah. Many give Christian interpretations to the so called "Messianic prophecies" of the Old Testament, but is there a Hebrew interpretation towards them. So, the challenging question for us all is.

IF MOSES WROTE ABOUT YESHUA... WHERE!?

I'll help start this;

Luke 24
[27] And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

So we have a clue here; Moses wrote the first 5 books, so that means Jesus could have been preached anywhere between Gen. to Deut.

I'll add another clue;

The book where Jesus was first spoken of was before the books of Deut., Num., and Lev.!

Good question Bro. Pierce! I'm sure most have not a clue! I'm interested in how many will take the challenge!

.
b>Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between her seed (God's people) and thy seed (Satan's people); it shall bruise thy head (Jesus resurrection will be the crushing blow to Satan's head), and thou shalt bruise his heel (refer's to Jesus bruising on the cross).

This verse has been recognized as the first messianic prophecy of the Bible.
Gen 3:15 refers to the virgin birth i.e Jesus born of a virgin woman
b>Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between her seed (God's people) and thy seed (Satan's people); it shall bruise thy head (Jesus resurrection will be the crushing blow to Satan's head), and thou shalt bruise his heel (refer's to Jesus bruising on the cross).

This verse has been recognized as the first messianic prophecy of the Bible.
Chaplain,

How exactly is Genesis 3:15 a messianic prophecy?
James,

It refer's to Jesus (Messiah) paving the way to salvation.
Chaplain,

How? How is this a messianic prophecy? What was the determing factor to conclude that Genesis 3:15 is indeed messianic???
James,

Is there another way to salvation?

Is not Jesus Christ the Messiah the Jews were looking for?

Because sin entered into the world, do you think God did not already know His chosen people along with the rest of the world, would need a Messiah before it became known through the Laws and Commandments of God that we needed one?

It's not that hard to see. So, if you're looking for something more into what I stated, then you should do your own research; or, if you have proof that what I said is in error, by all means share this information.

I'm not looking for a debate James. So, you can cease with the 101 questions.

Thanks,
Chaplain,

That is not what I asked. If you cannot give me a detailed, determing, factual answer, then admit that you do not know. I am only asking questions. I am not debating either. Sorry if you feel this way when this is not presented.

Shalom
James,

I gave you a detailed answer; if you do not accept it, then just say so.

Deuteronomy 18:15-19 "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; according to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."

This word from Prophet Moses coincides with the words of the Gospels and the Epistles:

John 5:45-47 "Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?"

Acts 3:18-23 "But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people."
