I BELIEVE THAT TODAY'S YOUTH ALONG WITH NEEDING DIRECTION AND ATTENTIONS, THEY LACK MOTIVATION. IT IS EVIDENT IN THE MEDIA AND WE NEED TO OFFER MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM TO FEEL LIKE THEY BELONG, ORGANIZATIONS AND CHURCHES TODAY ARE COMING TOGETHER IN THESE DAYS FOR THIS PURPOSE, WITH VERY LITTLE BEING DONE AND GOVERNMENT SUPPORT IS NOWHERE IN VIEW,
HOW DO YOU THINK THAT THE CHURCH NEEDS TO STAND UP AND TAKE BACK ITS COMMUNITY? AFTER ALL GOD DID GIVE US LAND TO POSSES AND IT IS EVIDENT THAT THE ENEMY HAS HELD GROUND LONG ENOUGH, TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THIS TOPIC AND WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PLAY AS FAR AS LEADERSHIP GOES AND STRUCTURING?

God's Truth, Dedicated loving leaders and Empowerment w/ Knowledge on how to walk in the Dominion God has given them. That is what I believe youth (and alot of older people) are missing.....

I believe if we would learn God's truth and transfer that to all generations w/o reservation we all would be in alot better shape. We as leaders need not worry about emotions and feelings as much as we are giving truth and being concerned about their souls. I am not saying be rude, harsh or unwise. We just need to tell God's truth and allow GOD to do the work on the heart. He is the surgeon we are only the "technicians" that preps the 'patient' for the Great Physician.....

Just my thoughts
I say that we continue to stay consistent! the bible says if JESUS be lifted up he will draw ALL men and that includes youth. I know in my youth ministry here in Kansas City I always try to change things up always offer something Fun and word based but a variety so the youth stay engaged and dont become burt out...As a result we have seen growth in our youth spiritually and the ones with no motivation have left why? because when you grow together in ministry the ones who are not trying have two choices either to come up to the next level with you or leave...God has a way of weeding out etc.. we as leaders just have to be available to God and the youth and also make sure we are doing our part by constantly seeking God for ideas and things we can do to enhance our youth ministry because it is not always about numbers it is about the quality of young people we produce.
I believe that our young people are in a famine today. The word famine means lack; shortage and our young people are in lack. They lack the love of a two parent home, they lack the security of a safe neighborhood they lack ambition and motivation. They lack the confidence, they lack the self-esteem.

Why?

Is it because they don’t have the right people in their corners? Especially if they live in a single parent home with 3 or 4 other siblings it’s impossible for that one parent to adequately reach out to all of his/her kids. There is only so much a single father can teach his daughter(s), she needs the nurturing of a mother or at least a woman figure in her life. There is only so much a mother can teach her son(s), He needs that father figure or male appearance in order to accurately walk into manhood.

As a youth pastor I model my youth department around the most prevalent issues surrounding our community therefore letting the children know that they are not going unnoticed and unrecognized. As present day leaders and Christians is it so more imperative that we cover our young people and steer them the right way because that old BALD HEADED DEVIL, Is on a rampage and out to steal, kill, and destroy our young people. We are teachers to our young people, it’s often said that young people get their first teachings from the church (I AGREE). So we have to be so ever careful of what we teach our kids because we are living in a modern day Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) Children are against their parents, fussing, cussing, fighting, running away, WHY? Because they are in a FAMINE

I admonish all youth pastors, youth ministers, youth directors, youth leaders to be more mindful of what’s going on with our young people because you never know what they are facing. And we need to be ready at any cost to intercede, minister, fast all of the necessary things to get that child or children out of their famine

We got to put God First in all That We.Do.....I can't be so busy worring about a position in the church were I forget about......The young souls that I see daily.......I first have to be Motivated.

How I think the church needs to stand up and take its community back, well first of all those of us who God has placed as leader's in the church need to consistantly live a life style that God consider's to be Holy. In the media your always seeing and hearing about different types of church scandal's, witch should not be so for leaders in the church. Since there is such a lack in Godly discipline in the leaders in the church, the anoiting of God does not reside in leadership the way it should, witch in return is causing us to lose the church to the world. So What ever motivation activites take place, they are of know value if the leadership is not in place spiritualy. It will be like a building with a Godly title, but know drawing or keeping power.
Truth !

for example "Jesus" (Yeshua) was a Hebrew Nazarene (Matt 2:23)

Acts 24:5 KJV tells Nazarene is a sect.

this "white lies" set our youth up for the next Lie.
that you can disobey YHWH and Live.
Eve fell for this one.

so he was not a "Christian" nor the men around him during his life before Calvary.
"Christian" come in to "bible" at Acts 11:26 twenty yrs after Calvary.
