Text: 2 Kings 6: 24 – 30.

Memory Verse: Psalms 34: 10, ‘The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing’ (NKJV)



INTRODUCTION

God wants us to have more than enough and to live in abundance. And that is why He created everything in abundance (See Genesis 1: 31). A good understanding of lack will enable us to live above it. YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE IN LACK! To live above lack is having enough to fulfill your God given purpose and having extra to be a blessing

What is lack? How to live above lack? Why lack is dangerous? And what is God’s remedy for living above lack. Lack can be material or non-material. It can be emotional, spiritual or physical. Whatever you may be lacking in your life by the power of God’s Word, receive grace to live above it now in Jesus name.



WHAT IS LACK?

· From the following scripture define lack (Psalms 34: 9, 10; Job 38: 41 and 2 King 6: 24 – 30). Dictionary definition of Lack is not to have something that is needed, Lack is to have too little of something, Lack is a complete absence of a particular thing

· Make mention of certain things which are lacking in your lives. Some of the things which may be lacking are food (Psalms 34: 9, 10), Wisdom (James 1: 5), opportunity (Philippians 4: 10).

Why is lack dangerous? (The dangers of lack from 2 Kings 6: 24 – 30)

1. Lack will turn a man into a killer or murder (Verse 28 – 29)

2. Lack is an enemy of progress (Verse 25)

3. Lack brings tears and sorrows (Verse 26, 30)

4. Lack will turn a man into a bagger or borrower (Proverbs 22: 7)

5. Lack makes people to wander about (Verse 26 & Job 38: 41)

6. Lack turns a pretty lady into a prostitute, a young man into an armed robber, 4.1.9 or etc

7. Lack is a destroyer of purpose (Verse 28 – 29)

8. Lack hinders a lot of great destiny and vision (Verse 28 – 29)



CONCLUSION

We can live above lack. Another word for lack is want, shortage, insufficiency or absence of something. Anytime God allows the devil to strike with lack, it means He wants to transfer wealth into the hand of His covenant children. No matter what you may be going through, God is a good God and He wants you to live above lack.

Hello Brethren,
I always mention you in my prayers. How is the work of the ministry? Family? And everything in general? I know you are growing from strength to strength. We just concluded our 31 Days of Power Fasting - Prayer Conference titled: Unstoppable Lifting. The climax of the program was our 8th year anniversary celebration as a centre.

In Acts 3:6, Peter told the crippled man at the beautiful gate to rise up and walk. Brethren, I will be in Liberia to minister at Bethel World Outreach Ministries, Gbarnga and Christ Resources Miinistries, Monrovia both in liberia. Friends, one of the issues we should deal with in our lives is voices. The Word of God says we will condemn every tongue which rises against us ( Isaiah 54:17). And every voice has significant. We are call to deal with that voice.

So friends deal with that negative voice which is speaking contrary to God's blessings in your life. The place of prayer is a place of exercising our authority as believer's over this voices. Voices of opposition, frustration, barrenness, limitation, shame, reproach and you know what? This voices are cursed voices. From the depth of my heart I pray for you that that if there is any voice speaking against you I command them destroyed in Jesus name.

When opportunity present itself for us to meet in person. We will share this bound of love together. I am looking forward to meeting you in person someday or to minister in one of your forth coming programs. I know destiny is working for our good. Love you.

Today is the second day of my fasting and prayer just taking water. I had a vision of the night. I saw men who are in pain in North Korea. And all of a sudden I saw some men escaping through some tunnels from North Korea.
And understand came to me that many who are in bondage and oppression are about to experience a mighty deliverance. And of North Korea it shall be said that the captive of the mighty shall be delivered. God is about to visit North Korea. And concern our individual ministry God is about to bring mighty deliverance through our ministries and also to deliver us from every challenge we may be facing right now. I am looking forward to your reply. Stay bless

How is the ministry work? I don't take this priviledge for granted. How is your family? I know all things are working together for your good.

I love adventure especially when it comes to God's work. I have been to quite some West African countries .e.g. Togo, Ghana, Cote D' Ivore, and I will be visiting Liberia this year for a special powerful crusade with one of my Pastor's friend.
