This is a common question and one that is very simple to answer. If a person has a ministry, his ministry will flow out of him and produce the proper fruit. Ministry is evidence, and it just makes a way and a place for itself.

A pear tree does not ask what it is; it just grows pears. There is no doubt about it: It is not a banana tree; its leaves are not the same and its fruit is not the same. People will know what you are by the fruit you produce. As you seek the Lord, pray in the Spirit, and study God's Word, the ministry gift that God has placed in you will surface without your having to force it out.

Quote by Dr. Lester Sumrall

"The ministry fruit in your office, should match the name of your office, if not, wait for it to grow, and everyone else will easily name the fruit of your office and take a bite. It will be a ministry walk and not work!"

Your office of ministry is apart of you, it's your passion in life. It keeps you focus on the things that God has conceived in your womb to be birth. You find peace and comfort in working the work that God has placed in you to do.
Yes, thank you for that. It's a Supernatural birth that comes naturally by the Spirit of God as one surrenders to the will and plan of God for their life. That surrender will produce ministry fruit.
I read a book That talked about Spiritual Gifts. The aurthor says the gifts in Romans 12:6-8 are motivational gifts God give us, and Eph.4:11 are the gifts Jesus give to the local church. 1 Corinthians 12 are the gifts the Holy Spirit has given to the body of Christ. I believe that God will direct you through the motivational he has placed in your spirit. My motivational gift is teaching. I love to teach the Word Of God. As I am faithful in teaching God will promote me the next level of Ministry.
You are right, He counts us faithful, putting us into the ministry, and promotions do come from the Lord. This discussion was mostly directed towards fruits of the office, rather than ministry gifts, yet gifts do accompany offices. People can have gifts and not be called in the five-fold ministry office. There is a difference between teaching skills, giftings, and talent. Example: If a person is a high school teacher in the natural, does not automatically mean they are called to the Ministry Office of Teacher. The difference is knowing the difference as it relates to our purpose and God's plan for our life. You have the key as mentioned, "faithfulness". Keep serving and being faithful and God will make it clear not only to you, but everyone us will know as well. Thank you for your thoughts. Blessings.
Amen. Well said.
Bishop KIemp that was explain so well. You shed a light in some darkness. We will know our tree by the fruit that we bare.
Thank you so much for your comment.
iam bless to join your group thank evangelist pastor susie houston
Thank you so much, stay posted
I belive that if you seek God he will tell you. It is after all his plan and assignment for your life. God was very clear about the call to ministry on me and my husband's lives. When he spoke to us he was very clear that my offices were acension gifts, and that he has made me a gift to the Church. I was called as a Prophetess, Evangelist, and Pastor. After God personally gave me my offices he publicly confirmed that he had indeed called me to these offices. We must be clear about our assignment and only God can tell you, man will only confirm what God has already told you.
Wonderful! Thank you
