Praise God Mighty Man of God. Be blessed!
Grace and Peace: My role in the home is 1) Priest, 2) Prophet, 3) Protector and 4) Provider. I'm the Chief Prayer Warrier in my home not only setting an example for my sons but i'm also a praiser in good and bad times. I continue to declare the promises of God over my household, I'm the protector; not only standing up for what's right, but even answering the door late at night. I'm a provider insuring that the bills are paid on time. I find that long as I follow these basic things my wife is happy and I am well pleased.
Bishop you're preachin now. Keep on doing what you do, in Jesus name.

I have a question. A man of God is not a dictator. He does not give orders he sets examples. what happens when those examples aren't followed. Is it His fault that his wife and or step children/children chose not to follow his direction and understand that simply because he is head God will honor what he does?

I have realized the hard way, that each of us have to stand before God as individuals. Judas, Pilate, Peter etc., A rebellious wife is not the husbands issue. The issue for the husband is loving her as Christ loves the church. He must stand before God. Her response is between she and the Lord.

The church of Jesus Christ is still not spotless, she will be, but Christ has to correct and carress her, both are expressions of love. When she repents, she is restored, when she resists, he maintains his agenda. Each of us must take our own tests.
so then that is my plot in life?
Min. Will,

First of all I agree with Pastor Hatcherson and I'm sorry to hear that you're going through. I don't know the whole situation, however coming from a woman who work with women and our issues. If you really love her ask God to give you patience to be with her, the wisdom to know what to say, when to say it and how to say it to your wife. Whatever you do don't lose the communication, love her and treat her like she's the best wife in the world. There is a reason why she's rebelling, I don't know what she is going through but until "she" acknowledge her issue and deal with it you and the family will be affected by her issue or issues. Now this issue may not have anything to do with you, like I said now I don't know her, but if you really love her pray that God will send a Godly woman into her life that can mentor her, that is not afraid to speak truth into her life whether she likes what is said or not, and pray that she will be receiving. Don't tell her what she need you talk to the Lord about her and allow God to lead you in the direction that you need to go. I pray that you would get to know her spirit and minister to that spirit and not to her flesh. I pray that you will go forth in the strength of the Lord, and don't be weary in well doing: for in due season you shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9) God bless you Mighty Man of God and I will be praying for you and your wife. Walk with great expectation for your trust is in Him alone. Read Psalm 62
Thank you.
It is very easy to discern a man's role in the home, but being a Godly man has to be a resolve even when there may be insufficient cooperation to ensure the results. I have learned that there is no difference between a leader in the home or elsewhere. Therefore, I published an article entitled "Command Respect vs Demand Respect." Here is a short explanation:

Command respect is what I see when I visit a good man's home and his good wife willfully serves him out of a sincere love and admiration. Demand respect is what I do when I return to my home.

The point is, a good leader and a godly man are both characterized by their ability to command respect and their firm refusal to ever demand it.
