WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN CHURCH....

[HOPE - Psalm 43:5]

Over the years, I have heard many men and women in the holiness denominations say that women shouldn't wear pants in the church.

Were is the scripture to support the ideology that women shouldn't wear pants? If it is in scripture then I would have to ask why are men wearing pants? Did men wear pants in biblical times or did their wear something that covered their loins and then long robe like attire? I mean isn't that what you depict in your biblical plays? So why aren't the men being asked to wear similar apparel in the church to maintain a outward appearance of holiness? Why aren't they asked to not cut their hair (both facial and head)

What are the clothing designations for men in the holiness denominations.

After all, without holiness NO man/woman shall see God.....

One thing that I know is that it is not that serious to start insulting and calling names, we are people of example with all different opinions and our own mind but there is only one GOD. What people need to realize that some things were certainly traditional practices by certain people and not everything the Jews did we have to do. It all boils down to this we now live in the New Millenium which is a different age and era, things change, and people change the only person who does not change is God. Sister !  I am sure by now, you know many customs are man made!  So why are people wasting time on such, when many souls are not being saved.  As many souls have a greater need!  And is the Body of Christ sleep or just plan deceived, or just don't care about others, as the Lord has commanded us!

The Bible says, "In all they getting get understanding" so it is not a waste of time when misunderstanding can cause someone to stumble. There are times when we have to teach as well as reach and if there is something that may cause a person not to attend service to learn about Christ such as not being able to wear pants then it needs to be addressed because believe it or not this is an issue in some churches. This is caring about the whole person when someone doesn't understand something we that are spiritual and seasoned members of the Body of Christ try and help find a godly solution. God bless

What is the point you are attempting to make because honestly I do not see why you are arguing with your sister. It appears that you two are on the same page. Are you arguing a point just to argue or are you seeing the point she is making?

I have never understood the rationale of some preachers to argue just for the sake of argument. Either we want to see people set free or we do not, and some of us want people to exchange the slavery of the world to a slavery of our making....In essence you do not have to be slave to the world but you must be my servant, forgetting that we are here to serve the people, not the other way around

I cannot figure this point out so I will just say God bless. What does the Holy Spirit and wearing pants on the job have to do with the church rules about pants? Some things are not just spiritual but are natural and no one is spiritual 24 hours a day so we have to take life as it is and handle things according to measure.
