Pray for him and encourage him.  If he starts to bring up the conversation about your role and you know from times past that this will escalate into an argument, don't go into the conversation, instead, simply say, "Baby, I understand and we will study more as a family.  Love you, handsome."  And then change the subject.  Don't give the enemy place because where envying and strife is, there is every evil work.  Sometimes, when ours or our spouse's heart is challenged, hurt or confused, we share that pain with the other spouse.  Our role as wives isn't to go into the lion's den to fight the lion, but instead, our role is to encourage, build up and cover our spouses.  I learned to fight the root, which I can't see, then the stem standing up before me.  The enemy loves to whisper into our and our spouse's ears and bring us down, but the bible says, "Submit yourself to GOD and resist the devil and he will flee from you."  Therefore, if your spouse has submitted to the enemy by allowing him to upset him by plugging in pride and anger, you remember, woman of GOD, that you are the second line of defense...that is, he may have gotten past hubby, but don't let him get past you.  Just smile and say loving and nice things...and always let him lead the home.  Never remind or rub in his face that you are a Pastor and he's not.  Don't be condescending or speak to him as if he was young, because he'll add the title with the action and have a reaction.  Instead, start asking questions like, "Baby, what would you like for us to do about...........?  Baby, you make the call."  The real fear he has is role reversal...he doesn't want to wound up being the 'woman' so he'll act more aggressive in his pursuit and fight to stay the 'man.'  Let him see that this isn't necessary. :)

I just recently married and I was already called into the ministry to Pastor. I recently pastored a church for 3 years My husband is a minister of music.

 What scriptures or insight can you share with me on my new role as wife, mother, female pastor, married as it concerns to headship, when the bible speaks of overseers as Men (gender) .  He is having a hard time adjusting to my call in the ministry after the ceremony took place.  HELP, thank you
