I was doing a talkshow the other day and one of the listeners was a man who has this as his show description:

Former Christian wants all to know that there is only one true YHVH. Learn how the end-time king that many call "The Messiah" will be revealed. Don't spend your life believing in a messiah when you can know The One True YHVH... Please realize that in the past I did believe in Jesus but I don't now. You are welcome to email me and try to convert me back to Christianity if you like but realize I will respond to you and present you with answers and questions that shake your faith in the J-man.

Question: As we must be ready to answer for our faith--why we believe what we believe, is this man still saved? ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. Yes, we know no man can pluck us out of Jesus' hands and we know God never leaves us but we can leave him so is he still saved? Looking forward to your comments and dialouge.

Here is his show saying Jesus is not the Messiah

If the gentleman denies the Messiah, and never returns to Messiah, then he will be punished to eternal death. Once saved always saved is a complete heresey. Each man has a free will to either remain in Messiah, or to reject Messiah. Ezekiel 3 & 18 says that his righteousness would be forgotten if he goes back to lawlessness. If he returns, then he will be forgiven.
This is something that many have disputed for years on top of years, there are pro & con scriptures that support both veiw points, however, if one would really by faith accept Jesus Christ, Be truely Born Again into the family of God, Common Sense tells us that truly know Him, if you really know Him, the last thing you will want to do is leave Him. To make a long story short, the point is this, I don't believe the person that turns and denies Jesus Christ, ever really truly believed in Him to start.
Yes some backslide, however, this can be seen in many cases, however , as seen in the story of the Luke 15, The boy that left home, He walked out of Fellowship with the Father but not out of His Relationship, He left home a son, and when he came back, he was still a son. Many lose and are out of fellowship with God, however, if they truly have been born again they are still God's Children, that need to repent and come back to the fellowship of the Father.
Another thing we must remember is that, We are kept by God's Power, By Grace ye are saved through Faith, and that is not of ourselves, it is a gift of God. We are sealed unto the day of redemption by the Holy Spirit. For God so Loved the World that he gave his only begotton son , that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE.
Even in David's time at his lowest moment he realized the His salvation was secure, and that repentance was what was required, when he asked the Lord, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation. Notice he didn't ask for salvation all over again, but for the joy of his salvation. Ps 51

A word of caution to all, if we are not careful we will put the work of salvation into our own hands and believe we are our own keepers which is so far from Biblcial Truth. Jesus Did All The Work Of Salvation On The Cross. We can recieve that salvation by faith and only by faith.
I understand that there are many that believe the opposite of this, however , I do believe in our eternal security that we have in Jesus Christ. When we mess up, God has given us enough in His Word to bring us back into fellowship with Him by and through repentance.

Those who turn from Jesus to other doctrines and to others idealogies, Never really Knew Him to begin with, they might have knew about Him , But never really Knew Him. There is a major difference.
Jesus said Himself, those that the Father had given Him. The Devil couldn't pluck them out of His Hand.. God Bless!!!
There are people who were genuine believers, and fell away from the Lord. its very possible for them that were saved, to walk away, by their own free will, from salvation. 1 John 2:19 is a true statement, for it was referring to false Apostles(preferably from Gnosticism), who were really not of the truth, and were probably among the brethern for some deceptive reasons.

Yet, there are people who have fallen away from their salvation, thus, their righteousness will be forgotten. It is only those who remain in Christ that will be saved in the end.
That's real good WORD!!!
Brothers and sisters,

HGM OutReach has given an insightful answer:

"To make a long story short, the point is this, I don't believe the person that turns and denies Jesus Christ, ever really truly believed in Him to start.."

I say AMEN to that!

Moereover, the Bible declares:

"It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because[a]to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace".

Hebrews 6:4-6

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Besides, the Savior of the Old Testament is the same yesturday, today and forever. Amen!

Jesus Chist is our Savior.

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever".

Hebrews 13:8 8

Blessings,

Bro. Germain

I believe that this person has been listening to too many different voices that come from the devil and the only way to get a break through is to get under some strong teaching and have their mind renewed by the word of God and the power of the Holy Ghost!
