I know this should spark a good discussion. I open this conversation for an opportunity to review and share your perspective and views.

I'm a Dem. (by choice) and I have been watching the race closely as things become interesting. Question? Why is it that Hillary takes the African American vote for granite? Time after Time she sends Bill in to rally the ol' guard to get the support, but will not show up herself, why is that? Why has some of our Civil Rights leaders, who claim to have fought for the DREEAAAM!!! to reach this point when we could have a good candidate, who is African American to run in the race and they refuse to support him because they feel we are still entitled and owed Bill for his years in office. Bill is not Hillary. Hillary ain't no Bill. History is repeating itself. We pray for the opportunity, which is then granted, and we refuse to accept and go back and pray again.

People, this is the closest time we have been to seeing the Dream come to life and instead of celebrating, we sit back and ask the question "is this the one or is there another?" I'm a supporter, but I'm not suggesting who you should vote but that you need to vote. We have complained tooooooo long about what is going on and we need to get involved or we will be left behind again. What am I saying? Don't give your vote away, but let it be earned. Learn what each person is saying and how you feel about it. You have a voice, you can say what you from your candidate, and you do count.

I think it is amazing what history is occurring in front of our eyes. People are forsaking color and looking for who is best to represent and not concerning themselves with the candidate of entitlement who you will not see in your church anytime soon. a recent CNN report qouted Hillary as saying, "I'm send Bill because he knows how to speak to them and he is carrying my message." I don't know how you take it but you decide. If you have not registered...do it now. If you are not informed....seek answers now. Do the research and make your decision. This is not an endorsement but a challenge to get involved.

PS.......This is News/Events. Todays News is yesterday's history...be careful who writes your history or you may become history.

I marvel how we as Christians look to outward things and people such as wordly governments and politicians to bring about "change". When God has given us all we need to “effect” change in our families, communities, cities, this nation and nations abroad. We have the “agent of real change” living on the inside of us.
Come on, if you are born-again and filled with the Spirit of God, then we must know that it starts with us, THE CHURCH … We have GOD’S Kingdom on the inside of us, the unshakeable, unbreakable, KINGDOM of GOD inside of us. This world is passing way, and it is passing away quickly, just as Jesus said it would.

This is the time for THE CHURCH to rise up, united and take a stand for Jesus. To be counted in and not counted out, despite the opposition and the current conditions of this decaying world. Our HOPE is not here, it is in what is to come – Joy Unspeakable and full of Glory!!!

I cannot in good conscience vote for any of the candidates. Each one has things that they represent or stand for, that oppose the Word of God. I am neither Republican or Democrat. I am a daughter of the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords. I am on His side! I will not change my position no matter the “report”… or “speech”… or “promises of man” or “color, gender, or creed” … I will stand steadfast on the Promises of God Almighty!
I am so glad that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. I know that we can take Him at His word. He is true and faithful.

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is stayed on Him.
God is the only solution-period. While history can be made know that history keeps getting made and the masses of the people are no better off! Look around the community blight, drugs, rampant murder, unemployment, yes we are making history on a fast track to becoming history. My vote goes to God with the pray to hold "whoever" becomes President to the words uttered on the way to the White House. Yes you are very correct only God has our best interest at heart-only God can make our best interest happen.
Thank you Pastor for this video.....I will pass it on.....
exactly, now that is a truth too build on...................
If the People only knew We are in the fourth Day,... Humanity but stinketh,.. Certainly NOT a sweet smelling savor [Ezekiel 20:v41-42]

Get ready for the fourth Reich'
My Brother, No i was not mis-understood. Peopledie for the wrong reasons everyday. Many say that we fought nfor the right too vote, and died for it. Well how about the brothers who fought and died just for the right too be called a man. If we really take notice we will realize that voting has done nothing too better, nor remedy the situation. When God sends the Man/Woman, there will be No-doubt. absolutely no-doubt whom, nor who's they are. The Word clearly tells of the times in-which we are living in. Salvation, Life, Death, nor Love for our fellow-man/woman depend on the vote. We can't agree on getting together without an agenda, and so our neighborhoods, schools, and churches get worse.

But we already have an administration that is in-place. why not use what we have too get what we want.......

Min. A.L. West Sr.
As usual Brother West! If the last two elections don't open peoples eyes in this country then only God can. Voting is a term that means absolutely nothing, ziltch, nada and again nothing but has been engrained in peoples brain to believe it does. It doesn't matter if you vote or not if the powers to be want something other than what the masses called for then guess what? If you think America is fair, then guess what? If you think this world run by satan is fair, then guess what? Personally and just for me, what's more important is what I can do for the Lord period. I'm not getting caught up in all the worldly things this world has to offer if I can help it ever again when it comes to something that has nothing to do with the survival of my family and my livelyhood. You can believe because the Equal Rights was passed and it's on paper is real all you want. Me I listen to what is said but I pay more attention to what is done. And if you don't believe action speaks louder than words and especially in America then I don't know what to tell you. You can take what they put on paper and use it in the bathroom. That's all it means. This whole existence and all of the Black and White this is going to be over soon and who cares cause I'm just looking for that cloud to come with my Saviour and end this mess. Most of these people don't look at it as an American running and winning, they look at it as a Black man may take over the country and now Black people will be given special privileges and we will loose control. Most of them think that the world will see a Black man in power (so called because there are certain families that call the shots not the government) it will look like a Black nation. If you think Jim Crow is really dead, then God bless you.
My Brothers, what an interesting twist to the topic. Min. West, you threw me off by the caption of Dr. King. I would like to take a different view of your statement.

We are not on the "Plantation" but we are in the Boardrooms. (I'm sitting in one right now)We have rights, but many refuse to empower themselve to ensure that those rights are not violated. Yes, you have the right to complain but understand while you are standing in the complaint line having a complaining party nothing will change until you get out of that line an into the action line forcing a change. Dr. King did not speak to complain, he used words to inspire others to make change happen through Marches, Sit-ins, Boycotts. I don't need to give you a history lesson. Many of the Israelites did not want to leave Eygpt, they rather complain in bad situations. It was not until they move by God's Word, did they see the change. They Marched out of Egypt. Was life grand after that point? No and niether is life for the Black Man but i'm not going to crawl under the rock of dispair to die, I going to work hard by Faith to help my brother/sister who struggle. Iron still sharpen iron. I pray that you realize that the election is not revolution to change the world because God is not going to use a revolution to change the world but His Son to wage the final battle against Satan and the evil of the world. God is who God is no matter who wins but don't degrade the struggle nor minimize the results.

The Civil Rights movement was not intended to change the Mind or heart of Man, only God can do that but the Movement laid the groundwork, and with time each generation may grow with the knowledge of why the fight was fought. Dr. King realize that he would like Moses never see his people free or reach the promise land but the God he served knew that he fulfill his work through him.

My brother fight the fight on the field
Rev. Moore, you take my words as being against, or as too degrade, that doesn't matter too me. Though I may never be understood, it doesn't matter. What happened during the movement is well noted in some cases. But being a man, now that motivates me. Being black and down with what the brothers are doing in the struggle doesn't. I do not as you stated need a history lesson, but at the same time, if we get out of the mid-50's through the 60's the agenda which you speak of shall go forward.

It is good too know that brothers sit in boardrooms, and that they are on these boards, but what has that really changed. you see Moses set before the children of Israel life and death, not nationalism (blackman)
everyday we are able too look at ourselves we see our color so too speak. Now if my caption on King doesn't fit what others no so much too be about what he was about, allow mw too clear it up.

I do not sit up high and naither am i worshipped for being anything. but i am in the struggle, taking the resources which God has given too FEED THE HUNGRY, CLOTHE THE NAKED, ETC.... nOW THAT MOTIVATES ME, THAT MOVES ME. The results of the struggle are this. The masses of people, no matter their ethnicity still suffer, while the few live grandeur lives, atleast theyu make it look like they do. The revolution is one of LOVE, Faith,Hope. So contrary to what alot believe the revolution is being fought. Before Dr. King died, he was on a mission (The Poor Peoples Campaign). So why ae so many still shouting no justice no peace; when they themselves would not know real justice if it were sleeping next too them.
The problem is (EVERY BODY WANT TOO GO TOO HEAVEN, BUT NO-ONE IS WILLING TOO DIE) EVERYONE LEADING AND GETTING PATS ON THE BACK. But history doesn't agree with that..........
The vote is a smoke screen, and they that run patsies, when I have a problem somehow it gets solved, and legislation, voting and none of these so-called grass roots help too do anything.

True happiness and freedom come through great struggle, that means compromising is not apart of the agenda. your field may not be mine, but prayerfully, we will all end up on the same plateau. I do not complain rather I stand with the truth, maybe not your truth, but the one that has been engrafted in me.

My Great-Grandmother, raised many of children, but too truly know where I come from and believe check this out. On a beautiful day in Clearwater Florida, while shopping with her dayghters, one needed too use the restroom, there was no colored/white signs. And she was told that our kind was not allowed too use the restrooms of this particular store. my Grandma instructed her daughter too pee right where she stood, and after wiping her up they proceeded out of the store, and never shopped there again, the store soon closed because it was boycotted.
My Grand-father killed a White-Man, blew him off of our porch for dis-respecting his family, and didn't do a day, for the Sheriff took care of him and the family, Do ypu get it brother, may not be the way you or others might have handled it, my point is it doesn't take marching, or sitting-in, it takes a made-up mind, and a pure heart, too overcome, but it has and never will be by the vote etc..... in the field they cried out and marched on Jena, LA. for common thugs, nothing more than thugs, Obama wasn't there, but was well criticized for that. I ask sirs,

Where is the field that I should be fighting on, and what agenda should I have?
Personally I believe John 12:32, that's my agenda, that's my call; and you know by doing as commanded, some folks minds, thoughts and attitudes have been changed, I would rather be used by God, than some fanbase. When yall start to work for the betterment of all, count me in, But if you and others want too stay in the past, fine by me. REMEMBER BEFORE THEY LEFT THE DESERT, THE OLD PASSED AWAY.
I have to agree again Brother West. When I was in my twenties I was as in the field as you can get and saw many so called field brothers turn to house brothers when people started dying. In LA I was with the Bunchy Carters and Angela Davis's and Geronimo's (Panthers) and we were just trying to feed the neighborhood but labeled as Militants (white man's term of course if you don't go along). We as a people don't know how to be united if you are in that fight. I'm for everyone as I know God wants me to be. I'm tired of all the separatisms in this country and the world, just sick of it. The Klan killed my Grandfather in Mississippi on the road when my mother was eight and I never met him. My people in Greenwood, MS still keep his room as it was to this day and keep his memory. I wouldn't follow most of our so called leaders to the grocery store. I'm following Christ and that's all I need to follow. I was a bitter young brother growing up before the Lord touched me. It's not about this so called race or that one. There is only one race in God's eye's and all the other crap is humans crap. I better quit because I'm loosing my grace and I apologize for it. Bless you all.
My Brothers.....
For the record......I'm not pro black/white/yellow/green/brown. Our God so loved the world......... However, I need to give you the complete story.

I grew in the racism-era of the ATL....before all the Bishops built mega-churches in Decatur on Wesley Chapel when it was still an All white area. At the age of 6 moving there in 72; Our first week in the neighborhood we had a cross burning in the yard. I grew up when 32 children were murdered by the kkk and the crime was charged to Wayne Williams. born on Bankhead, couldn't ride in Buckhead. I struggled everyday to get past racism and by only God's Grace graduated so I could leave the scars of the South. I know the struggle first-hand.

But my brother understand that it was not the action of your relatives alone which close the store. according to your story it was the action of others that join in and agreed to your Great-Grand Mothers action and boycotted the store. The confusing point is that you state it doesn't take sit-ins or boycotts to cause the change but as you state "the store soon closed because it was boycotted." It is individual acts/crys for justice that lead public calls for change.

There is a difference between Pride and Proud. I don't look at history as a source for Pride but as a choice to be Proud. I rejoice in what others have done to make life better. Whether it was the black Panthers who feed thousands through food program sponsored by the Government (check your history books) or the Hosea Williams feed the hungry campaign, which I work on the feeding line/kitchen so many times I can't count. Chavez and the farmers of CA movement, or even your Grand-father and the white sheriff (employed by the county) who chose not to prosecute. I'm proud that people saw a need and cared enough to help. They didn't do it on their own, they worked sometimes in the system and alot of times outside the system. WE DON'T STRUGGLE ALONE NOR DO WE ACHEIVE SUCCESS BY OURSELVES. Sometimes your enemy may also be your benefactor.

We are on the same battlefield "loving our neighbor and helping them." We are all living the John 12:32. I'm on the street, in the boardroom, in the mall, on the school yard, on the courts showing ALL that there is JOY in lifting the Saviour UP!!!! On the battlefield, you do it from one angle and I may do it from another. You are not wrong for your direction nor am I for mine. I'm proud that you are so passionate for the actions you do out of love. My passion and heart goes out for the Young AA male, where we have more in jail than in college. Dont get it twisted and think that I'm saying college is for everyone, but jail definitely is not where they need to be. What i am saying is that our goals are relevant but our pathways are different.

The purpose of the post was to see who everyone is voting for, not that there is a perfect candidate or a best choice.

It's not about race, nor is it about color, which was never stated in my post. We are all children of God. Don't lose your Grace John, I agree with you. My son had to teach me how to let my own mis-conceptions go. He showed me that love conquers all. He's my 4.0 Med student, who became engage to a beautiful young Woman. He told me that it was becuase I purposefully but him in enviroments where he was the minority in school and then blended it with doses of his own history, and introducing him to multi-cultures through working with other churches that he realized that the Spirit of God has no color. My prayer is that he teaches his children that same thought "that the Spirit of God has no Color.

Just so you understand "My heros don't appear on no stamp" the icons in my life, never belonged to the NAACP, no Fraternity, no lodge, never ran for office, never held a public position, but lead the greatest movement ever known to Man. He was never a general but even Kings have to bow to him.
Jesus is my hero because he loves me just the way I am or ever was.
Rev.,
Not trying too be funny at all.
So tell me why should I/we be interested in the vote?
