Today for the most part, every Mega and medium size Church is 80 to 85% women. The men are not there as before and one of the resons is that they are not feeling the message of today's leadership. It is not reflective of where they are at in their lives and how they are feeling as a whole. Today's Preachers are seen as Players or Pimps who prey on the congregation spiritually. This I know from the street research I have conducted throughout this country. Sad but true, these men would rather hear the message from the women in the pulpits because as they have stated," Its real and not show."
So God has allowed this shift in power to take place because he cares for the multitudes and the message of the kingdom is a simple one"Jesus is Love." And these "Influential Women in Ministry" are saying just this! We need to support them and give them more encouragement because it is no easy task taking the position of leadership today with the many ills of the Men leaders who do not want to step aside and let God shine through these women. Yet they are shinning none the less, if not in the 4 walls of the church then the throughout the Earth. I commend everyone of them wherever they maybe at...

“America has thousands of churches! There are some in Cathedrals, Small Chapels, Storefronts, Private Homes and Warehouses. Some of these churches are denominational and some are not, some are traditional and some are very unique, and finally some are growing and unfortunately MANY are DYING! There are a lot of churches, ministries, and Christian Centers that are on life support spiritually. Why? I believe the question is on the hearts and minds of many Pastors and church members, and the answer is available…BUT can we handle the TRUTH? The truth is something most Christians avoid like the plague! Why? I think we (Christians) would rather blame the devil for things that are really our fault and responsibility. Is the devil our enemy? Of course he is! But WE reap what WE sow. The church preaches a lot about sowing and reaping, especially when it comes to money and wealth. If you read the verses in Malachi about tithes, read carefully! It wasn’t the people God was rebuking, IT WAS THE PRIEST! But many churches lay this on the members and yet they don’t practice what they preach. Local churches are supposed to make an impact on the communities they are in by GIVING back, (Matt. 5:14-16) Sinners should have to even confess and admit that the Church makes a difference in this neighborhood! I want to give you ten answers to the QUESTION! “Why is my church dying!” Hold on to your hat’s the answers may shake up your traditional thinking…and make you THINK!”
AMEN BROTHA I SUPPORT WOMEN PREACHERS 2 CAUSE MY CO-PASTOR & MY MOM DOES A WONDERFUL JOB WHEN DADDY TELLS HER 2 TAKE OVER 4 HIM ON THE 3RD SUNDAY. AND PLUS SHE HAS A SHOW ON THE RADIO AND IS DOIN WHAT GOD HAS CALLED HER 2 DO.
Our church is about 45% men and 55% women. One of the comments I have heard from men that have joined our church stated that the reason they have been turned off to church in the past is that the pastor is either too spiritual or too feminine. Men need someone they can relate to and that is OK to be a masculine men who also loves Christ and his family passionately.

The other major problem I have seen is the lack of mentors who have a generational mindset. Older preachers almost refuse to mentor younger men out of fear. Those young men in turn leave the church to start their own work. Because a lot African-American males grew up without fathers is is very difficult for them to father sons. Daughter are easier because male are more competitive and territorial. Women has filled the void left by uninspired, fatherless men.

The church suffers when there is not a vision that surpasses the current generation. When the older preachers dies those that are left fight over who will take over the work and once again start on a journey that is no different than the previous one.
