THE RETURN!

Imagine if you will.....



You are in your car driving home............

Thoughts wander to the game you want to see or meal you want to eat, when suddenly a sound unlike any you've ever heard fills the air. The sound is high above you. A trumpet? A choir? A choir of trumpets? You don't know, but you want to know.. So you pull over, get out of your car, and look up. As you do, you see you aren't the only curious one. The roadside has become a parking lot. Car doors are open, and people are staring at the sky. Shoppers are racing out of the grocery store. The Little League Baseball game across the street has come to a halt. Players and parents are searching the clouds. What they see, and what you see, has NEVER been seen before.



As if the sky were a curtain, the drapes of the atmosphere part.

A brilliant light spills onto the earth.

There are no shadows.

None.




From every hue ever seen and a million more never seen. Riding on the flow is an endless fleet of angels. They pass through the curtains one myriad at a time, until they occupy every square inch of the sky.




North. South. East. West.




Thousands of silvery wings rise and fall in unison, and over the sound of the trumpets, you can hear the cherubim and seraphim chanting, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY... The final flank of angels is followed by twenty-four (24) silver-bearded elders and a multitude of souls who join the angels in worship.




Suddenly, the heavens are quiet. All is quiet. The angels turn, you turn, the entire world turns and there He is.........

JESUS.





Through waves of light you see the silhouetted figure of Christ the King. He is atop a great stallion, and the stallion is atop a billowing cloud. He opens his mouth, and you are surrounded by his declaration:





"I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA !".



The angels bow their heads...

The elders remove their crowns....

And before you is a figure so consuming that you know, instantly you know: Nothing else matters... Forget stock markets and school reports. Sales meetings and football games. Nothing is newsworthy... All that mattered, matters no more......

For Christ has come.

Excellent, Excellent, EXCELLENT Point! The majority of us are blind to this fact or in denial of this fact. This place, this world..this..Earth is EXACTLY that....a battle ground for souls. Most refuse to acknowledge that we are at WAR everyday!

Ephesians 6:11-13 (KJV) says...
11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13)Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

"How did we get so far off from focusing on eternal things? "

Simple: The way of the world. Being conformed instead of transformed and having a renewed mind. The lust and temptations of earthly treasures and pleasures (all that you mentioned you gave up).
People no longer care about eternity, just the here and now, foolishly believing they will make it into the Eternal Kingdom of God by their "Earthly" deeds.

Rev 7:9 "After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands;"

Amen...Amen...Amen....Glad to see somebody thinking of the eternal things rather than the temporal things of this earth. And that's what happened to me when I first got saved from reading His Word. The more and more I seeked the Kingdom of God, the more I became less and less interested in working and desiring the things of this world. I gave up everything...house,cars, position, family, money, designer homosexual clothes, riches, jewelry, fancy restaurants, status, desiring to be rich, etc....Our life is nothing more than a vapour here.

1Co 2:9 "But as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him."

We can't as humans who have never seen heaven nor is it even possible to fathom eternity, since this dirty rock called earth everything dies and gets old. I'm tired of working and stressing over things that are going to die. Tired of fulfilling the lusts of the flesh, following its own depravity. Why follow something that in 3 days without soap and water will stink?

This is why I chose to give up EVERYTHING and count EVERYTHING AS DUNG to further the Gospel to the world. Do you know how magnificent it will be for all of the believers around the world praising and worshipping God in their different tongues. I know it will sound beautiful, heavenly. Why I get so frustrated of us who don't see it nor get it but would rather mix the world with the faith of the suffering Christ and compromise God's Word to be moreseeker friendly to this world that is perishing.

One of the most powerful verses in the Bible to me is:

2Pe 3:8 "But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

Just think about that mathematically. If to God a thousand years is like a day to eternity, and if we are blessed to live on earth a 100 years, to God that is equivalent to 2.4 hours. So that means if I'm 45 years old I only have a little more than an hour left on earth to affect the Kingdom of God and to infect the kingdom of hell.

In hell they already know Jesus is Lord. In heaven they already know He's Lord as they worship the Lamb for eternity. This is the only very limited time in all of our eternity where we are called to put our trust in and preach and to proclaim Jesus is Lord. What are we going to do in the remaining hour that we have here to receive the crown of life and to hear those words, "My good and faithful servant, job well done." What is our job, what are we as servants called and commanded to do from our collective MASTER?

In other words who will you want to stay at your crib for eternity? And can you imagine how beautiful your mansion or really the bible says...MANSIONS made by God's hands will look like? Trust the best so called mansion that Donald Trump can create on earth with wicked hands for profit, compared to your MANSIONS in heaven made by God's hand will look like a dog's house compared to God's creation.

Imagine this for a second, if God would allow you to see heaven and your mansions for just 30 seconds. Trust you and others would give up everything right now and walk to an unreached group to tell them with tears in your eyes that He is not dead but....RISEN!

I haven't even heard many sermons about this very topic you are bringing up Tarmeque, about the Kingdom of God. All I keep getting is how to live on earth and how to accumulate wealth, health and happiness. Earth isn't heaven nor hell, but the battlefield for SOULS!
