I say no! All sin seperates us from a loving God. It was out of His love for us that he died on a cross and crucified all sin paying it's debt. Homosexuals are not hated by God and they are not hated by me. The sin they are in is no different than the sin that I struggle with day to day. Be careful about hate, it will eat you from the inside out. Love people, all people the way Christ loves you and me.

Sin is always death. The sin of homosexuals comes with horrible consequences. So does the sin of drunkeness and idolitry and so the list goes on and on. Jesus is the solution and the salvation for all men and for all sin. Thius may not be popular, but standing for Christ and resting in His word has never been the most popular thing to do. Love your neigbor is not a choice. Hate the sin love the sinner is what I have been told.

Blessings to you all. I'm not going to say to much about this because I don't want to say the wrong thing. But I will say this LET NOTHING SEPERATE YOU FROM THE LOVE OF GOD!!! No sin is greater than the other, nor do I think that your sin will or can seperate you from a loving God. For we all know that God hates the sin but loves the sinner, whether the bible teaches it or not its a true fact.
Yes. There is a sin that is worse than another.
(1). James 2:10-11.This verse tells us that all sins are the same. There is no greater sin and no small sin. These sins are in Galatians 5:19-21. Theyare the same.
Here comes greater or worse sin:
(i) Jesus said, “…Therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the GREATER SIN” John 19:11b
(Ii) Also, The sin of apostasy (Hebrews 6:4-6).
This is my contribution.
Thank God for the BLOOD OF JESUS that watches all our sins away and it makes us purer and whiter than snow.
God bless.
Greetings again. I really do think that people get the misunderstanding about sin. Sin is sin. There is none "Greater" than the other. Because the Liar is going to go to hell just as the Killer those are two different catigories of sin if you will but, im speaking of example. Its still sin and it stinks in Gods nostrils. So no matter what it is if you don't do what? >repent! you can forget about it.
Amen alll sin seperates us from Yahweh. But God is clear when He gave us His Holy law that there is a priority to certain sins that lead to death. Paul mentioned this as well as he handed some people over to satan so that there souls might be saved on judgement day.. God is clear that there is different levels of punishment in this life as well as the judgement to come for sins comitted in this life. Say if a kid steals a sweet thats sin! But a man molesting a kid is sin as well! Justice demands a greater punishment for the lata! The courts of man demand this and the courts of heaven demand this as well. Its clear by the way God dealt with His people Israel that certain sins are worse than others and must NOT be comitted and avoided. Some lead to pysical death and some lead to hell! There seems to be this out look on God in the Church that Jesus loves you all the time and he certainly does.....BUT he is coming back with judgement and wrath. ALL will have to stand before Him and give an account you me and evry man that ever lived. I love sinners because am one and I dont judge no one. Were all saved by grace. I live by the principles of the 10 commnandments and by the testimony of Yeshua. As in Revelation 12 v 17 and chap 14 v 12...Yeshua said if you love me you will keep my Commandments. These commandments are guide lines and save boundrys to live within! They steer us away from certain sins and are a way of live that is pleasing to God..Once one is saved from the punishment of the wrath to come the spirit will enter there hearts and high light sin and teach us what is right and wrong..Without the spirit we can not please God or keep the commandments of Yahweh.

Shalom to you my friend keep up the good work you do in Gods mighty name

Yes There is a sin thats worst than any other, WHEN YOU DONT KNOW GOD.
The WORD of GOD says that all sin is sin and the wages of sin is death, however these can all be forgiven if truly repented (1 John 1:9 ). However JESUS said there is an unforgiveable sin;and that would be blaspheming the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31}.

Bless You!
No sin is worse than the other. All sin is bad in GOD's eyes.

Matthew Ch. 19 vs. 19-30 New International Version

The Rich Young Man

16Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”

17“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”

18“Which ones?” the man inquired.

Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, 19honor your father and mother, and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’

20“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”

21Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

22When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

25When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

27Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”

28Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or motherf or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
Clearly, all disobedience is sin and in the eyesight of God, He doesn't place degrees of which is worse or less. I believe it is we, the church and others, who place emphasis on what is considered to be greater or lesser sins. Thusly, we then are in error (sin) as well by allowing ourselves to have respect of persons and become judges. "For anyone who keeps all the law, but makes a slip in one point, is judged to have gone against it all. For he who said, Do not be untrue in married life, is the same who said, Put no man to death. Now if you are not untrue in married life, but you put a man to death, the law is broken." -- James 2:10-11. One would think that murder is worse than one who is promiscously involved in various sexual acts. But the truth is, any violation of God's command and His word is disobedience and therefore sin.

God hates sin (not the sinner but the very act/thought of). We place emphasis on various degrees of types or acts of so called sin (lying, killing, stealing, adultery, fornication, backbiting, so forth and so on), but in the eyesight of God, if you offend in one point, you are guilty as if you had committed all of them. The end result of sin is death (the soul that sins, shall die), that is why we live for a span of time and then we return to the dust, because of sin and our sinful nature. All sin is forgivable except for blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (which is God's power and the agency by which He works, then we determine that God has no power). While we can be forgiven of sin, there are consequences we must encounter and face/endure because of the sin that has been committed/omitted.

As a theological/philosophical or any other reasoning, there are those who would debate this and point referential scriptures to try and validate their viewpoint. But if we look at the original meaning of the text(s) in its original form, then we will have the correct soundness of truth with no room for error. The punishments shown in the bible were given as an example of what judgments/consequence occurred for sin(s) that were not repented of: The flood of Noah, Sodom & Gomorrah, Tyre & Sidon, Cain, Baalam, Jezebel, etc. These are results of sins that were continually practiced and unrepented of. Bringing up another point, Godly sorrow will bring sincere repentance, not just merely saying I'm sorry but having no real desire to rectify your ways/actions. True repentance will bring about an adjustment to do that which is right. Eventhough we can be forgiven for whatever sin we have committed/omitted, we must bear in mind that there are repercussions that will follow. Any good parent, out of love, will chastise their children for any wrongdoing in which they have done, but it doesn't alleviate the fact that the child did wrong. The parent forgives the child but the child is chastised so that they will learn not to commit the wrong again. This is what occurs with true repentance and in the scope of God's forgiveness when we transgress (sin) -- no matter what the sin may have been.

None of us have reached perfection yet, and no matter how holy we feel or think we are, we are all sinners (still have a sinful nature in our flesh -- Romans 7) who have been saved by the grace of God. And if it weren't for His grace, we would all be lost. But instead of arguing or debating on this subject, we should keep in mind the scripture that says: "If the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the sinner and ungodly appear." We need to make sure we live so that we don't become a stumblingblock to anyone while at the same time, living a life that is pleasing and acceptable unto God.

Thank God for His Grace and His Mercy!
Amen Elder Allen Davis. U better teach. Thank you.
The early apostles and the early church may have practiced keeping the commandments as we all should practice keeping them but as the scripture says all have sinned and falling short of the glory of God so that that tells us that even though one may practice keeping the commandments we will in time fail just keep living and no there is no worser sin in the eyes of God but in mans eyes yes especially if one is a child molester.........Thank God and Jesus for Grace.
I would think yes indeed - some sins are worse than others.
For one I think a sin that would kick you out of the assembly of believers is nothing to wink it at.
Take a look - this is so ominous:

"Although I'm not physically present with you, I am with you in spirit. I have already judged the man who did this as though I were present with you.
When you have gathered together, I am with you in spirit. Then, in the name of our Lord Jesus, and with his power, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."
- I Cor 5:3-6

Haha! I dont want my flesh to be delived over to Satan for anything

And this one is just right down hopeless:

"Truly I say to you, All sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and blasphemies with which soever they shall blaspheme:
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation"
- Mark 3:28-29
Sin is just what it is, SIN. There is no greater sin because it's all sin, and all sin cost the same, But there are evils that are greater than others. Some crimes are greater, therefore the punishment for them are greater. The law punishes one harsher for murder than it would for one who is caught driving without seat belts. They are both crimes but one is greater and therefore require a harsher punishment. Remember where the Bible says some will be whipped with few stripes and some with many? They all committed crimes that were punishable by God's law. But it seems that the punishment fit the crime (so to speak). They were both crimes demanding a different degree of punishment, but they were punished, because all crime is sin. Sin is not punished because it is a crime, the crime or trespass is punished because it is a sin. But the worse sin of all is the UNFORGIVEN SIN. This is the only sin that will send you to hell. If it is forgiven, you have no worries. I think we confuse to often sin with works of the flesh, and we call each work sin and categorize these works as different types of sin. There is only one type of sin, but there are many works of the flesh, and wicked devices. There are many types of evil deeds and they all fall under the category of sin. Sin is not in the category, it is the topic. It is the works of sin that should be categorized. So if you ask me is there one evil or wicked work that is greater or worse than another, the answer is YES. But is one sin greater than another? the answer is NO. All sin is an abomination before God. And then wage of All sin is death. Forgiveness from God satisfy this death penalty through Jesus Christ our Lord.
