The Prophetess

It is always wonderful to see the workings of God through the women of God in church settings. I am always amazed at God and how He chooses to move through people. Needless to say, contrary to what many believe, this is the day and season that God is moving upon the face of the earth through both men and women; and for those who do not believe that women have a right to be used by God, may I ask you to consider the fact that God created men and women equal in essence but not necessarily in function and although this is true, there is yet a place for the women of God. If I may add, the preaching of the gospel involves telling others that Jesus has risen. Suffice it for me to say, that the first person to actual tell the good news was a women. This is not to violate the order or scriptural teaching related to women and men in ministry but it is to help us be accepting to God in this time and day. This brings me to my real point. I believe in the office or position of the Prophetess even when some have argued with me that there is no such proof of her existence (they obviously didn't read or understand the word) in the word. But here is my concern (for both Prophet and Prophetess); I attended a service the other day and a Prophetess spoke to the congregation and when I left, she sent message to tell me “God said, let it go."  My challenge is, as a Prophetess or Prophet, please operate in specifics and not generalities. Understand, when God "truly" speaks to you he usually speaks to you specifically. Generalities are for people who are just beginning to operate their ministry, but for those Prophet and Prophetess who have matured in the things of God, we need to move in specifics with accuracy.

So for that Prophetess who moves in the prophetic on a specific level, God bless you. For those who are general in your gifts, seek to grow to a place where God gives you specifics.
