John 1:1;14; Hebrews 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.

Hebrews 1:1-3 discuss how God in times past has spoken to us through the prophets and the written word, but in these last days He spoke directly to humanity through His Son who is God in the second person.

John 1:1 and 14 let us know that in the beginning, Jesus was with God as creation was taking place as He is the living Word of God and everything that was made was done by Christ. This mean that Jesus Christ had His beginning with God as He was preexistent, with God not when His virgin birth.

Christ being the living Word relates to His Father, the world and humanity. Christ took on humanity as He became flesh and many during His earthly ministry recognized Him as the promised Messiah. Christ becoming flesh is where deity and humanity met as Christ remained sinless while doing the will of His Father-restoring a broken fellowship by providing salvation to all who believe.

Jesus Christ as the living Word of God serves as our high priest as He is seated at the right hand of the Father.

Christ is alive as He is the living Word of God the Father.
