In a harbor in New York there stands a monument people call "Liberty. it has been visited and made an icon all over the world as a hope for all who are oppressed, persecuted and enslaved. Yet in the land of the free, many still are held captive, enslaved by vice, greed, and sin
In the land of "freedom" it is met with qa price of military might, and legislation or government decrees. Yet to its greatness, there are not enough F-18s to combat the wickedness contained in one heart. In spit of enough laws to fill 50,000 empire state buildings, violence and evil still runs rampid.
We call our selves free... but are we , with personal choice as a root then each heart must legislate itself to do what is right before Elohim in spite of what the rest of society may say or do. Even Lot found himself ensnared within the walls of a city of vile and treacherous life styles. Can a man obsessed with revenge be truly free? Can a woman addicted to pain killers be "liberated? When our nation offers a numbing through artificial means of drugs and alcohol how can we say we are alive??
In the midst of the scorching heat of hopelessness there is a tree who shade extends beyond any boundary. No legislation no military might can rescue us from our selves, there is only one hope, to which we can turn. .
To be truly free we need to live in the governance of Mashiyach and follow His edicts, choose this day who we shall serve.. if Elohim be God then let us serve Him , if Baal then serve him. This world has followed a false sense of reality and call us legalistic, yet to live in the walls of Torah is not enslavement, but a wall of protection
"Come out come out " they call playing soothing melodies do not listen.. Do not follow them for they shall all die, Seek YHWH while He can be found. Come camp with in the walls of true freedom, where all are treated as equal, where all rest with out measure of want.
True freedom is not the symbol of a woman holding a light, but rather the light that shines from with in ..
