John 20:19-21; 21:1-14

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Our topical discussion question was posed because from early Resurrection Sunday morning until that evening there were activities that had occurred all relating to Jesus citing.

Throughout our scripture texts were various citing of Jesus and the person did not recognize Jesus. Verses 14 and 15 are two such verses that verify Jesus citing and Mary didn’t recognize Jesus. These questions come to mind, would you have recognized Jesus if you had been there? Would you have been like Thomas needing proof that yes the man you saw was the risen Christ? Today, would you recognize Jesus if He came to your house or place of worship? Would Jesus have to say unto you Peace be unto you I am the risen Christ your Lord and Savior who died for your sins?

Let me say, be ready to see Jesus because He is coming back again just as He came the first time as an infant; His second return will be in glory and power with His bride. While here on earth, be ready because Jesus can visit us at any time and in any format such as an angel or a beggar man. Would you recognize Him?

Yes I have seen Jesus with my spiritual eye; as He live I live.  He walks with me daily.
