In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth... for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Why am I writing about God's Provisional Care? It is because every so often we need to be reminded who the creator is and that He sustains all of His creations. God's love is demonstrated in His creative and nurturing activities. God's protective care is evidenced in that He preserved by His righteousness through His son Jesus Christ (Psalm 36:6). God's provisional care is all inclusive according to the above scripture and is supported in Colossians 1:17 because all things exist in Christ Jesus.

God being all knowing made provisions for all creation before creation. This is because God knew that all creation had to be cared for and is supported by Philippians 4:19 which state that God will supply all of our needs through His Son Jesus (paraphrase). God's love and care are so broad that He made provisions humanity every need generations before the need arose. Reflect on Joseph and how God placed him in place that through Joseph an entire nation would be saved. This includes God's provisional care through the government. God has a perfect will and a permissive will; His perfect will is what God's desires to happen whereas His permissive will is what He allows to happen. This speaks to having godly leaders who will lead under the direction of God the Holy Spirit.

Let me close by saying, God in His provisional care will see us through these difficult times. He is going to bless the righteous and punish the unrighteous.

Be of good cheer, God's provisional care is in operation.
