Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord, thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.  Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,  pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days, ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it.

In light of the constant turmoil on display daily, my desire to provide encouraging words by saying, be strong in the Lord, and He will see you through.

Take note of what our scripture texts say; God asked Joshua a profound question: Have not I commanded thee? Then God tells Joshua to be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid either be dismayed. These same encouraging words apply to us today. We must remember what God said, I will be with you, neither will I forsake you, and never will I leave you.

We must take God at His word and trust Him, and never doubt Him, for our God is a God who cannot lie. Whatever God says will come to pass. More importantly, God has proven Himself to be trustworthy.

Therefore, we must be strong in the Lord, knowing that God will see us through these tough times because we have a mighty warrior fighting our battles. Our current situation is no different. We can prepare our next meal knowing that God provides all that we need; physical and spiritual.
