I BELIEVE THAT TODAY'S YOUTH ALONG WITH NEEDING DIRECTION AND ATTENTIONS, THEY LACK MOTIVATION. IT IS EVIDENT IN THE MEDIA AND WE NEED TO OFFER MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM TO FEEL LIKE THEY BELONG, ORGANIZATIONS AND CHURCHES TODAY ARE COMING TOGETHER IN THESE DAYS FOR THIS PURPOSE, WITH VERY LITTLE BEING DONE AND GOVERNMENT SUPPORT IS NOWHERE IN VIEW,
HOW DO YOU THINK THAT THE CHURCH NEEDS TO STAND UP AND TAKE BACK ITS COMMUNITY? AFTER ALL GOD DID GIVE US LAND TO POSSES AND IT IS EVIDENT THAT THE ENEMY HAS HELD GROUND LONG ENOUGH, TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THIS TOPIC AND WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PLAY AS FAR AS LEADERSHIP GOES AND STRUCTURING?

They are being pulled by peer pressure, pulled by TV, pulled by music and pulled by the flashing lights, glitz and glamour of the world. I agree with everything you said. I too have a passion to reach our youth and am continually grieved by this generation. They are missing the fear of God and have been blinded by the things of this world. We as the church must spend much time in prayer and fasting for this generation, trying to reclaim our youth, and educating them. The parents need to teach them about the fear of God and to raise them in the ways of the Lord!
My prayer is that He would bring revival to our nation and raise up youth on fire for Him.

Im a young man that been on both sides of the coin. I went from being a PK busy in the church, to being a hustler selling watever and not caring if it hurt. And now im back where i belong and i found out alot about wat it means to want a way out but not see the door right in your face. Thats where most young people are at, so they say forget it all. What young people need today is realness and truth, and im sorry but the church today as a whole has neither. There are some people that are spittin realness but they're so far inbetween its rediculous. And the truth that is being uncovered is marked a lie so wheres the breaking point. I'll be the first to say it, cuz i know its true. We need realness and truth

today youth are missing a true encounter with God and we need to organize programs that will bring them to the place of this real encounter with God . without this encounter they fall back into the world but with this they are rooted and grounded in the faith. most of those youth i ministered to who had a geniune encounter with God are stay in the faith today. the youth need an encounter with God. for me as a youth worker i have a monthly weekend encounter service for youth and such time we worship God and minister the baptism of the holy spirit.

I believe that all of what we're saying is true to a degree....Todays NOW generation and I say NOW because if we don't get them NOW we won't get them! I believe in my heart that they need to know that God is real to them as well as anyone else. They need God to be relatable to them. Teaching and reaching are (2) different things. This 21st century sinner is smart and doesn't respect us for what we show them.

1.We as leaders need to be transparent. Showing them that we have made mistakes, not that they learn from ours, but if God can bring us out he Surely can do the same for them. This allows them to relate to the God in us and allows them to understands that they have leaders sho understand and feel them.

2.Be grounded ourselves. Paul told Timothy to be an example to the believer. If we aren't grounded they won't be. They will pick us apart for what they see us do.
