Reason To Leave A Church

As I was sitting here in thought of a discussion the HOLY SPIRIT said talk about what is a reason or reasons to leave a church. I have what I beleive is the only reason one should leave, but I am egar to see how people feel across the country.

It is more an act of disobiedence to remain in a place where you are not being nutured to grow and become able to rightly divide the word of true to other's. You refer to the scripture which instructs one in authority and with the knowledge of GOD'S word, to feed HIS sheep. Yet if he/she(leader) is dealing out of fleshly desires and not rightly dividing the word of truth themselves then what do you presume is being servered up. It is no secret that one produces after themselve like kind/minded. Which means if what is being taught is deformed and one is expected to adhere to it, a bunch of deformed believers are being produce. To think that any good fruit could come from that senario is a strech at best.

As well why would one be encourage to sit up under teaching which manipulates the word of GOD for the personal agenda of the leader. This is no less then what was experienced in situations such as Jones Town!! Not to mention to stay and try to prove a point at the risk of your own salvation is silly and by no means does your leaving constitute disobiedence.

I've heard this agrument a thousand times before and it generally comes out of the wounding of leader's. Leader's who have resented the fact that they may have given what they knew as there best, then couldn't except the fact that it was time for member's to move on. That is unless they deemed them ready or the reason they left suited them. As leader's our responsibility is to give as GOD give's us, impart what the HOLY SPIRIT insturcts us to impart, to give love, nuture, and guidence through our example of living.

Are there times when folk leave for silly reasons or posess a vagabond spirit? Yes, but even in those cases it is not up to me to judge them unto condemnation. Even those folk recieve my blessing to move on and find a house of faith that suits whatever it is in their spirit that causes them to shift at the smallest thing.

As to the instuction given in Gal.6..That is for believer's who are open to recieve your act of reaching out attempting to restore them back into the fold. A made up mind, is a made up mind, and by no means is GOD'S word not being fufilled, the seed has been planted, thats my job, conviction, that's the HOLY SPIRIT'S job. GOD will not let HIS word return unto HIM void, I may not see it manifest but HE will.

I think the only reason you should leave a church is if your leadership is actively in sin, not preaching the truth or God is leading you elsewhere.
We have too many church hoppers just jumping from church to church because they can't have their way and be able to do what they want to do- that is NEVER a reason to leave the church you are in.
I was raised in a good, old-fashioned church and they taught us how to see beyond emotionalism and foolishness to the true issue.
I have been a member of ONE church in all my 32 years and I don't see my membership changing anytime soon unless I find me a church here in NJ that I know I will be a part of until I close my eyes for that last time.

the only and main reason is that the spirit moves you to go to where you will be planted and or assigned to for pacific purpose God has intended. we are to be lead by the Spirit but make sure it is the Spirit and not some deep rooted self thing.
