Okay PASTORS, when something is Law, isn't it unlawful to deny it?  The reason I am asking, is because I have seen Pastors endorse Question 6 and say that the Government should make the decision whether gay marriages should be lawful, and that it is the right of the Churches to make the decision whether they can marry in a church.  Well, if it is LAW how can a church deny them?  If they see a church that is the venue in which they want their nuptuals performed and the Pastor of that church say no, because of their beliefs, that is UNLAWFUL and the church can be sued am I in error of this thought?  If I am not, then how are Pastors endorsing Question 6 and asking others to support it also.  Please advise with leadership mentoring and/or legal advise.
