Life is a race; it takes persistence to be a winner. It is those who hold on to their dreams and goals without wavering that attain them. It not a enough to start a thing, you must hold on till it starts to speak. Success is your birthright, but it takes tenacity to enjoy it. The Bible says; “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not”
(Galatians 6:9). It's those who refuse to give up in the race of life, that are crowned with success.
Please understand that every vision will surely come to pass at the appointed time. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come to pass. Men may mock you today, never mind them for your vision will soon speak. Just stand strong in season and out of season, doing what is right. There are many obstacles that will try to stop you from achieving success in life. But in the face of adversaries you have what it takes to hold on and move on. There is nothing that is allow by God to come your way that is bigger than you. Challenges will come, but don’t give in to them. This is because the light affliction now is nothing to be compared with the weight of glory ahead. If you are knock down, don’t accept a knockout and if you are already knockout, find your way back to the ring. You have gone too far to quit. Refuse to quit because of pressure. Don’t give in to discouragement. You will make it.
You and I are surrounded by men and women, who did not give up or quit believing, in spite of the severe adversity and oppositions they faced. Look at the story of one of such men. He was a grade school dropout. He went bankrupt running a small country store and spent fifteen years paying off his debt. He ran for office in the House of Representatives and was defeated twice. He ran for office in the Senate and was defeated twice. He was attacked daily by the press. He was despised by half a nation.
That is not all about this man, he suffered a nervous breakdown. He had several physical and was described as less than handsome. Despite all this problems, this man-Abraham Lincoln eventually became the President of the United States of America. Don’t give up. Every great destiny is surround by obstacles. If you will not quit, you will fulfill your destiny. . It is imperative for you to be persistent if your dreams and visions are to be realized. You must persist in the face of adversity, if you desire to take hold of success. Don’t give up before you see your dream become reality.
Fried, the challenges of life are many, but all that will dare stand in spite of all odds will make it. Persistence is the mark of champions. Every destiny requires persistence to make it colourful. There is greatness in that thing you are doing now! All it requires from you is persistent. Keep at what you are doing now, in no distance time it will begin to speak success. Don’t let delays and problems upset you and hinder your dream from coming to fruition. Refuse to allow failure make you quit. Remember what King Solomon said in Proverbs 24:16-17; “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief” Remember winners never quit and quitters never wins. It takes persistence to be prominent in life.
Abraham Lincoln says; “Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm” Don’t forget that most champions have a record of failure in their past. But they refused to quit. You will succeed if you don’t give up. It is always too soon to quit. Never give up. Persist and you will be crowned with greatness. Success is yours forever.
