God Cares: 1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you
If we pose the question, how do we know God cares? Let us examine the evidence, God created us in His likeness and image and breathed the breath of life into, and we became a living soul with a mind, body and a spirit.
God is not some masterful watchmaker who creates and then leaves us to run on our own. God provides for all our needs as recorded in Philippians 4:19, which includes both physically and spiritually. God keeps all of His promises.
Further evidence of God's caring was demonstrated through His son Jesus Christ atoning work on Calvary's cross where He suffered bleed and died for our sins. He rose on Resurrection Sunday with all power in His hands in heaven and on earth (John 3:16), and all who believe in Jesus will be saved. Jesus Christ is our promised Savior; a promise made and kept by God the Father.
God gave humanity His holy Word as our roadmap to spiritual living so that we will know how to live according to God's Eternal Word and standards. He gave His Spirit the Holy Spirit who will help us live by righteous.
Lastly, God is all sovereign and all-powerful who can do anything but fail; He changes not; whatever God says it will come to pass. When He asks us to cast all our cares upon Him; trust Him as do as He asks.
Reflect on your life and remember how God has brought you through your trials, eased your mind from worry and concerns and lift your burdens. We serve a caring God. Take your problems to the Lord and leave them there.
