"Hello Baby."
That's how the message that came in my inbox on this network began. I didn't have to read further to know this was a hoax, scam, spam aka a seducing spirit. Different methods but same motivation.
Here is the rest of the message which I am sure others have received.
"how are you doing today? am interested in knowing you baby , were you married? am looking forward to meet you ........ what is your name ? tell me more about your self ok you mail me back
throught my private email adress ..."
I have left out the email address and the name the individual used. For those who still haven't gotten it this is clearly someone spamming or scamming or both.
Notice a few things:
1. the message is generic even the greeting so it is not someone who is interested in knowing you or making a ministry acquaintance. Underhanded email harvesters love to do this.
2. The atrocious spelling may not be a function of the person's literary skills..it's just that spamming all day gets you careless and to be frank--they could care less.
3. The catchy salutation or greeting is a giveaway.
Don't be taken in by this phony.
