I love Hearing Good Preaching

Why some preachers when thet get up behind the sacred desk they just don't bring the word, and if they have to preach a week from now they get so spiritual all of a sudden, they start fasting, praying more, I thought the Holy Ghost was going to give us what to say at that time.

I have to agree with you Rev. Luckett, when I am ask to bring the Word, first off I pray about it, and I most certainly will study, now COGIC especially smaller churches, are notorious for calling on you without warning, so I know to always be ready.

Keep in mind that I listen to, and I'm guided by the Holy Ghost, I have prepared sermons, and the Holy Ghost took me in a completely different direction.

I love good preaching as well! tell me something do you guys give honor to everybody in the building before you preach, (I can't stand that! lol)

Brother Williams, I think that should be a way of life(fasting and increase prayer). Yes, th Holy Ghost
minster to us during out devotional so that we can minister to God's people. The problem is some
people get in "SELF" which is basically "FLESH and you experience the part where you
in your comment"they just don't bring the word".
