Modern churches

If we who profess Christ are going to represent Christ, we must do so apart from the errors and politics that exists in modern churches. The excuse that there is no perfect church must not be the cry of those who are pressing towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. There is one perfect church who's foundation is Jesus Christ. Only in Him can we reach the goal of perfection. If we are in him, whatever we lack is accounted to us by his righteousness. We must focus on what we gain and not on what we lack. The path of the just is as a shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. No longer can we make excuses for the lack of power and growth within the institutions that claim to represent Jesus Christ. It is time for the people of God to stand up. The kingdom of God is in us. We who are called out of darkness into His marvelous light, are the church. Let us come out of Babylon (confusion). Let us walk in light. For if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. Mark C. Woods
