Hezekiah: People keep saying that these are my beliefs and not the beliefs of anyone who accept the scriptures for what they say. I beg to differ. These are my beliefs supported by scripture, and anyone else who follows the scriptures as they are written will agree with me.

Hezekiah's Belief: Like for instance, I believe that the scriptures are of no private interpretation, and they are to be read from the law to the testimony precept upon precept line upon line, here a little there a little. This is the only way to get real understanding of the scriptures. These scriptures below is why I believe this, and my experience also allows me to believe this.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Isaiah 28:9-13 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Hezekiah's Belief: I believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and he died not for himself, and took away animal sacrifice, and died for sins past. I also believe he died on a Wednesday right before sundown, and rose right before sundown on the Sabbath or 7th day. These scriptures below is why I believe this.

Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Matthew 28:1-6 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Hezekiah's Belief:I believe we are to keep the commandments because Jesus said that is how you get eternal life or right to the tree of life, and it is the love of God to keep his commandments, and if you don't keep his commandments and say you know him, you are a liar. I believe that the Kingdom of Heaven will be on Earth in Jerusalem. I am able to prove my belief by what I read in the Bible. Not by some theology, or some other root language, or some other foreign language because the Lord said with stammering lips, and another tongue will I speak to this people. Here are all the scriptures that cause me to have these beliefs.

Matthew 19:16-19 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Isaiah 28:10-11 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

1John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Revelation 22:13:14 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Hezekiah's Belief: Here is what I am shooting for. To be in the first resurrection ruling with Christ because I keep his commandments to the best of my ability.

Revelation 20:4-6 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Hezekiah's Belief:Here is where I don't want to be. The Lake of Fire, or a chance for the Lake of Fire in the Judgment of the 2nd resurrection.

Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Hezekiah:Death and hell delivered up the dead. Hell is the grave. Looks like we have works., whoever was not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. also death, and hell or the grave will be cast in the Lake of Fire too. All my beliefs can be proved by the book, and you can read for yourself to understand why. You really don't need me to explain it. Also here is why I teach the way I do, and why it seems to offend people.

1Thessalonians 2:4-6 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ

2Corinthians 11:6-7 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Matthew 24:9-15 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Hezekiah: I challenge all the Sunday Christians on this network to prove your "beliefs" with the scriptures, and nothing else from the outside world because if we are Christians, then we should follow what the Bible says, and not what man says right? Post your belief system by the scriptures only. If there are no replies, I understand. If you follow the Bible for what is written, then post if you believe the same things I believe. We are to be one in the word of God.

Exodus 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate

Hebrews 10: 4-10 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Matthew 5:17-20 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven

1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
I agree with you bra. You have to go into theology in order to disprove what you believe in. I have no choice , but to believe in it and follow it to because it is what the Bible says. That is what being a Christian is all about. I want all of you to know that I now have my Youth Ministry watching The Israel of God Live online Bible lesson every Sabbath now. We have a huge projection screen, and we do our thang. All of the older kids left the ministry between the ages of 18-22, but the 12- 18 all stayed, and believe. We gone keep it goin'. Yeah, I wanna some day be able to line those scriptures up correctly because I am so used to linein' up the scriptures as my theological teachings say. I would have to use the Dispensation of Christ to be able to disprove this thread, but using just the scriptures, I can't.
That's good Brother. I am glad you are growing. Thank God, and keep doing what you are doing.
I can see that nobody wants to debate this thread. Thank you for all who did reply.
LOL, good work Hezekiah. If there is anything about your style it is this. The most that anyone can ever do is show that you're taking the bible out of context. They can't directly refute what you're saying because they'd have to refute the bible because only the bible is speaking and you're just quoting it. Here, everything you said seems to be backed up by the bible in its proper context. This is why they would find it hard, if not impossible to argue.

But I have to say I do think it is a great improvement that you have those summary parts where it says "Hezekiah:..." or "Hezekiah's belief:..." I think this part is sometimes necessary too (doesn't have to be long. I think the amount you wrote is perfect) because people are not used to reading the bible in proper context. They read it out of context according to their church's theology. That is why I told you before that I had to guess what you were trying to say because I'm used to dealing with people who quote texts all the time in order to support their own notions and traditional beliefs taught by their churches that the bible doesn't say. But they post these texts as if it supports their belief.

I read the bible in context. When I'm not sure about the context I use information about the language, culture, time period, other texts, etc. to create a scene that shows the proper context for those words. So I usually have to EXPLAIN the texts people THINK they already know. This is why this is this and that is that. I think both our styles are good for different reasons. Not everyone needs the explanation if they aren't under the delusion that they already know the meaning of a particular scripture or text.

Anyway, great job.

Shalom
Thank you Brother Zealot X... I appreciate that, Glory to Yah by Jesus/Yeshua because that is why I follow what I follow. I think that you have a way with explanation, and description in your style. There is where I lack. You have the greatest communication skills I have ever seen. I am glad you are on the side of Yah. If that talent would be used for evil, you would have a mega congregation. You remind me of Paul of Tarsus, and how he taught. Since you are a lowly servant of Yah as I am, and a Zealot for Yah, you probably don't have a congregation. We are doing our jobs, and I, myself need to continue to do a better job of being righteous with charity. You, and Brother Pharoah have taught me, by Yeshua, that my light needs to shine as I bring the light(Word of Yah). It joys me to know that I am not alone in the service of the True and Living Elohim. I will continue to work hard to do better, and I will continue to welcome your comments, and hope to continue to learn from you on this forum.

Shabbat Shalom
