Questions for the Hebrew Israelite Brethren and Sisteren...

Why are you guys of the Hebrew Israelite denomination so caught up in the flesh - OT, OT, OT. Have you guys ever been effected by that which is spiritual?

Do miracles ever happen amongst your congregants - like other wordly happenings - things that you can't explain and yet don't contradict the word of God?

Do you guys ever speak in tongues under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost? and if so Have they been interpretated and if so - what were a few of the messages?

Does the Lord ever give y'all visions? Daytime visions?

When there is sick among you - has your elders been called to anoint the sick with oil and pray for them and you see them miraculously healed?

Are there any-any-any white people in any of your congregations? or have there ever been any at one time but are now gone?

Do you guys believe in the resurrection of the dead?

Do you sing songs? If so - name at least 5.

Do you dance for joy in the Lord?

Are there any in your congregations who prophesy on things to come? - if so - please share a few.

When I read yall posts I often wonder if there is any joy and anything spiritual going on in your assemblies. It does not seem so, but there could be alot going on and you guys are just not sharing it with us.
And if your goal is to convert - you really need to step out and say something that the board can know or at least surmise that the God of Heaven steps out of Eternity and deals with your group(s).
I dont want it to seem that I am asking for a sign but I guess I am because the early church brought with their doctrine power and demonstration.

Otherwise - to me at least - it seems that what you brothers are sharing is stagnant.
And I say that out of love. I really enjoy scrapping with you guys over many of the subjects but when it gets down to business - outside of the OT - there is a dead pool effect going on.

Besides striving about the Law - share with the board how God deals with you guys mightily.

In Peace

I'm a Christian, but I believe in the same God the Hebrews do, so here is my piece.

Do miracles ever happen amongst your congregants - like other wordly happenings - things that you can't explain and yet don't contradict the word of God? Yes, things like that happens. A brother all of a sudden hear the word, and stopped doing what he did in the past. That is a miracle. Any of crazy off the wall stuff is just a look and an act.

Do you guys ever speak in tongues under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost? and if so Have they been interpretated and if so - what were a few of the messages? Speaking in tongues according to the Bible is speaking another language. In the context you are referring to, the Holy ghost made it so, that a brother was all of a sudden able to speak another language.

Does the Lord ever give y'all visions? Daytime visions? I have had dreams and told them to someone, and it made sense in their lives before, but everything you need as far a prophecy is in the Bible and history.

When there is sick among you - has your elders been called to anoint the sick with oil and pray for them and you see them miraculously healed? No. There is no anointing, that died with the Levitical Priesthood. I have never seen anyone healed before my eyes. Even if I did, it would not stop me from following the book.

Are there any-any-any white people in any of your congregations? or have there ever been any at one time but are now gone? Yes, there are whites. We have a whole camp in Evansville, IL who is white, but we are all Christians. Hebrew Israelite is a nationality, not a religion.

Do you guys believe in the resurrection of the dead?
Yes

Do you sing songs? If so - name at least 5. The Book of Psalm. We would sing any of those in the book of Psalm.

Do you dance for joy in the Lord? Yes, at the beginning of Church.

Are there any in your congregations who prophesy on things to come?
- if so - please share a few. Yes, you can too if you would read the Bible how it needs to be read, Here is the end time Prophecy. When you see the abomination of Desolation sit in a holy place, run to Sinai Desert. The Abomination of Desolation is the Pope, and he will sit in a temple that the Israelis will build. They will first re-institute the animal sacrifice in the temple, which is their so-called 3rd temple, but reall this is the only temple that they will have ever built, but that is another prophecy. Because they don't believe in Jesus being the Messiah, they will think that the Pope is the Messiah because he will stop them from sacrificing animals. This is why I push knowing about the animal sacrifice so you won't be deceived. He will move into the temple, and that starts the great tribulation. We are to run to the Wilderness of the Sinai Desert. Get a boat ticket or plane ticket. Something. Anyways, World War III is the battle of Armegeddon. The major players of the war will be from the West headed by the European Union, and allied by the U.S., Israel, and the nations of the west. From the East will be headed by Russia, allied by China, Iran, India, Libya, and the nations of the East. Israel will start with a nuclear strike on Iran, and then from that China will strike the U.S. and from that the War will start, with Russia coming from the East and they all will meet in the valley of Johosaphat. During this, the Pope will be causing all nations to come to Jerusalem to receive the Mark in their hand or forehead, and it will be the (RFID Chip). This is some of the prophecy that we read about through the Bible and history.
Now would all of the people who call themselves Christians answer some questions for me about what you all do.

If Jesus was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights, how can he have died Good Friday evening, and been risen Easter Sunday morning.?

If Christmas is Pagan, why do you celebrate it?

If Jesus nailed all the laws to the cross, why is it that the only laws I see done away with is the animal sacrifice law, and Levitical Priesthood.

If the Hebrews are in the Old testament too much, why is all the new testament people quoting from the Old testament?

I am going to put how many times it says keep the commandments, and answer me why it says that so many times throughout the book?

OT Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

OT Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

OT 2Kings 23:3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

NT 1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city

Why does it say keep my commandments so many times if we are not to keep them.
Are the "commandments" referenced in the above scriptures the Ten Commandments?

If so, remember also, Jesus fulfilled the Law (the penalty for breaking any of the laws); he did not come to abolish it. As a matter of fact, Jesus reiterated the keeping of the Ten Commandments by re-stating it in Two Commandments: Matthew 22:35-40
Lets get things clear here: WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, NOT EVEN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS!

The commandment that covers all of those (commandments five thru ten) is this:

John 15:12-14 "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."

Never mind the others, if you keep this, you'll go BEYOND the little bit that was asked of us from the Torah!
Trevor,

So, where does this leave Matthew 22:35-40, since Jesus himself said . . ."Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
Bro. Watson,

I never said Matthew 22:35-40 was included in the original Ten Commandments. What I did say was that the Great Commandment given by Jesus covers the original Ten Commandments, as follows:

First = Thou salt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.

To love the Lord is to obey Him. As we will agree, love is an action word. So, to love the Lord first and foremost is to lean on the indwelling Holy Spirit who will teach us and guide us daily in our lives so that we will not worship other gods, refrain from making graven images of things in heaven, on earth or things in the water under the earth, refrain from using His name in vain, and to assemble together for Sunday worship services. This first commandment deals with our relationship to God.

Second = Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Again, love is an action word, so in striving to show our love for God in the first commandment by yielding to the indwelling Holy Spirit, we will also be led to love our neighbor the way God intends. For example, we will respect our parents, we will not take the life of another person (unless, of course it was a true action of self defense as may be allowed according to the laws of the land), we will not desire to commit adultery, we will not steal, we will not lie on others, we will learn to be content with the things God has blessed us with and not be envious of what others have. This second commandment deals with our relationship with mankind.

If we strive to follow the teachings and leadership of the Holy Spirit, we will be keeping the Ten Commandments, not by works, but by our love for God. And, when we slip, which we will because of the inherited sin nature, God's mercy and grace avails us.

Peace always in Christ
Chaplain,

It covers all the Torah, and not just 10.
Bro. Watson,

We need to grasp that the term "law" (which Paul frequently used in his letters), can refer to a number of distinct concepts. There are several distinct usages in the New Testament for the word "law." It can refer to the Mosaic Covenant or to the Five Books of Moses, or to the entire Tenach (the Torah, Prophets and the Writings). "Law" can refer to a specific biblical command, or to a "principle," or to "legalism," depending on the context in which the term is used. In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, Colossians and the Christians in Rome, he uses the term "law" in a way that parallels the concepts of "flesh," or "works;" in other words, self-effort. Paul is focusing his attack on "legalism," the idea that a person's efforts and achievements can earn saving merit with God.

The Ten Commandments (moral instructions) was given to govern the people how to live amongst themselves. It was the works of these commandments that was abolished because works of any kind does not save. But if you are saying that we do not need moral instructions on how to live, then we are free to live as immorally as we please, should we choose to do so.

Secondly, if all of the Ceremonial Laws were nailed to the cross, which I do stand on this truth, why do we tithe? This law was never given to the Church in the NT and it is truly an OT Law. Additionally, tithing doesn't save anyone either. So, wasn't this law nailed to the cross also?

Thanks
That is a good Post Sister Harris. You are growing in knowledge and understanding in deed.
Brother Watson

Can you get 3 days and 3 nights from Good Friday evening to Easter Sunday Morning?
Anthony,

You have to see beyond the letter of the law. Is it love if you cheat on your wife? Is it love if you run after false gods? The law is and has always been about love and maintaining relationships. Yeshua was quoting Deuteronomy 6 which was indeed summarizing the entire law. I'm a little surprised that in all your studies you never realized this simple truth.

Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law
