Scripture and Thought for Today
For my people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisters--broken cisterns that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:13 NKJV
Thought: Do you feel like there's something missing in your life? Are you running from place to place and person to person trying to find it? Until you put God first and make Him the center of your life, you'll keep digging cisterns...that cannot hold water. Your life will continue to fill VOID until you fill it with the fountain of living waters(GOD). Trying to do things on your on won't work. Running from your problems won't work. Trying to be validated by people won't work. Only God can fill these VOIDS. I know we all want to be loved and feel successful, so we look to our jobs or to others for a sense of fullfillment. But a person and a paycheck cannot do what only God can do because we'll keep coming up short. So fill your cisterns from the fountain of living waters.
