Should A Woman Cover Her Head When She Prays In This Day and Time?

When I came across this scripture in the bible it was easier to understand where women get the custom of wearing church hats and where men get taking their hats off when they are about to pray. But I notice as time goes by not as many women wear them but men still take off their hats when praying or preaching.

What are your thoughts on this? Is it still necessary to follow this rule?

THERE WAS A TIME WHEN A MAN DIDN'T WEAR A HAT INSIDE OF ANY BUILDING,EVEN LITTLE BOYS. THAT WA A CULTURAL OBSEVATION AND NEVER CONSIDERED TO BE A SIN,BECAUSE NOT DOING SO, VIOLATES NO COVENANT LAW. WITH THE CURRENT LACK OF PRAYER IN THE CHURCH, "TO HAT OR NOT TO HAT", IS THE LEAST OF OUR WORRIES. WE'VE ACCOMPLISHED MUCH IF WE CAN GET THEM INSIDE THE CHURCH AT ALL, AND GETTING THEM TO PRAY IS A TASK, IN AND OF ITSELF.
Hellow Prophetess,

From what I can tell the cultural observation of women wearing coverings stems from the instructions in I Corinthians. So I wondered since this was observede because of scriptures - is it OK to drop it because maybe it was just for the days of the bible.
