Should churchworkers be paid? Should church workers (leaders) receive a love offering?
i.e., Chairman of Deacon/ Trustee/Official Board, Associate Ministers, Sunday School Superintendents, VBS Directors, Sunday School teachers, volunteer church leaders of any type?

Faithful and at church 4-5 times a week or more and all day on Sunday.

I see nothing wrong with a church honoring faithfulness, a love offering is not payment for their work, it is a token of love only, for we can't pay anyone for doing the Lord's work only HE.
Excellent reply!
True Sis, we can't pay anyone for the Lord's work, but it is still appropriate to show love in a tangible way since LOVE IS A VERB.
If the church teaches and practices tithing, absolutely yes. That was one of the things tithing was instituted by God to support: Everyone who labored in the Temple. Also, don't forget that part of the tithe which is to be set aside and given to the poor, the elderly, widow and orphan, and even the stranger in need. That is where the tithes were to go - according to the tithing ordinances. But, please note, the tithe did not include money offerings. That is a Temple issue completely separate from the tithe.

Otherwise, absolutely not. Service to God is a calling, not meant to be a money making profession. The one exception is the evangelist (missionary) who goes about preaching the good news to the unsaved. They are to earn their living from preaching the gospel. Everyone else is required to work for their meals - no work, no eat. Church leaders were first of all called to be the servants of the assembly, not its masters. It is most difficult to be both master and servant at the same time. Even Jesus came to serve, not to be served, and that is exactly what He did - serve up Himself. On His return, however, He comes as the absolute Master of all creation, and He shall be served by all as He deserves to be.be.
Praise the Lord my brother!
Brother you are so on point...thanks for making it plain.
