"So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, "Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them. His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." Matthew 25: 20-21

A few weeks ago I sent out a couple of emails to individual people and though the email was received, I did not receive the warmest reception and was actually scolded--which was okay with me because I know they love me... Well, after one of the scoldings I began to almost let the enemy make me take my talent and stick it in the ground and bury it. During a sermon I was given a rema word and revelation of the scripture and the enemy tried to come right in and reminded me of what someone said to me, in one of the emails, that was the actual words that made me want to hide my talent. I felt ashamed because maybe I was using the flattery of my tongue (or these keys)--was I like the Saddusees who knew many scriptures but did not impress God..... NOT!!

As Bishop ministered (a homegoing service) I knew there was a Word for me. I did not know the minister who went home to glory but I knew his wife (she is our work-out instructor). I yearn to hear the Word and as I began to allow the Holy Spirit to replace the enemies words, from the email, I simply said, "Lord, have Your way. And wham, it overtook me and here I am, writing you--using my talent to the glory of God. Hallelujah! I love writing, and I especially love writing and ministering your spirit and soul, lifting you up, affirming you, giving you a word or two or three of encouragement--loving on you and sending you hugs and kisses from afar. And I pray you receive me, even when the words are hard to hear. Trust me, they are hard for me to hear too. But I will not hide my talent.

The talents we have are not to be burried.... one of my best friends is a Public Transportations Manager and has a talent for graphic artistry. Sister-Girlfriend is dynomite and she uses her talent to bless so many people--for free, including me all the way over here in Virginia. Her work is not simple but complex!! Sometimes I ask her "how did you do that"? I love my sissy. I have another brother-friend who works for a University but he has a wonderful talent in working with kids--to the glory of God. Yet another Sister-Girlfriend, now she has a talent I wish I had sometimes because my mouth can get me into trouble but thank God His grace and mercy are sufficient, Amen. Anyway, she has a talent of being a "quiet warrior" to the glory of God. It is awesome to watch this process unfold right before my eyes. She withstand so much, and take it to the Lord in prayer. Now, don't get it twisted, she will speak but with such great wisdom and a meekness that just radiates. I admire her glow. I have another Sister-Girlfriend who has the talent to just make you laugh uncontrollably. I think she should be a christian comedian actually because she is naturally funny, my stomach hurts sometimes from laughing. She makes me laugh almost everyday with either a text or a pic or email. Girlfriend is hillarious!! And another Sister-Girlfriend who has the gift of uplifting, encouraging, togetherness, sisterhood. She is so amazing and I'm so glad we are friends. She never ceases to send your girlfriends a word. Yes, each one the people I just spoke about are MY friends, praise God!!! And they use their talent outside their everyday 9-5 to the glory of God. Thank you Father. Our talents are not to be burried. We should use them to the glory of God and allow Him to multiply them by telling us, "because you have been faithful over a few, I will make you ruler over many." I want Him to tell me, well done, thy good and faithful servant. I want to be found doing our Father's business, building His Kingdom.

Have you read the parable of the talents lately? If you have not I would like to share it with you. If you have, read it with me again and I pray it blesses you beyond your belief--in the way it did me. This is from the NKJV on searchgodsword.com:

Matthew 25:14-23 For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money. 19After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20"So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, "Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.' 21His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' 22He also who had received two talents came and said, "Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.' 23His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

What is your talent? Please always share it to the glory of God. We need you.

Love you

I love you Fred, but God loves you more, AND there's nothing you can do about it! Thank you for stading up for righteousness and I pray we all continue to STAND therefore, just like you! Whatever your infirmity, take it to Jesus. He will set you free and give you peace and overwhelming love that you will never be able to understand. Allow yourself to be saturated with His presence. May the Holy Spirit rest, rule, and abide within you forever and ever, amen, and may the peace of God dwell within. To God be the glory, forever.

Love you
Wow, your thought process is beyond beyond. THANK GOD, you have a wife!!! Do something nice for her this weekend and treat yourself too!
Fred, who has upset you?... I also wanted to commend you and your wife for going to that Iowa protest. I hear they are going to allow homosexual priests to practice in the Catholic faith... WOW... how did it go, what was the outcome of the protest?
