'The Grio' Article Disrespects Black Christians For Taking A Stance For Their Faith & Chick-Fil-A

The Grio, Democratic Party strategists, gay marriage activists and bloggers have come out swinging at Black Christians/Black Church community this week.   And WE now have a shiny, new black eye to wear to worship service next Sunday morning!

The Grio, a black internet publication owned by NBC News Corporation, published a scathing article by columnist Kirsten West-Savali, this week.  West-Savali ridiculed Black Christians for agreeing with Chick-Fil-A's owner, Dan Cathy's, biblical viewpoint of marriage, 'one man, one woman'.   In a previous article with a Christian publication, Mr. Cathy stated he does not discriminate against gays, and that every human being as one of God's creations, deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and integrity.  He also added that gays are employed at many of his 1,600 stores.

In spite of this reply, needless to say, . . the 'chicken feathers' began to fly.    GLBT organizations, liberal media outlets, corporate giants like Amazon who donated over $2 million to 'ssm cause', responded in outrage.   Even some prominent city/government officials swore to ban CFA from moving into their areas in the future for not supporting 'ssm'.  Among these noted officials was former Obama aid/strategist, and now Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel.

To counter the attempts to bring 'CFA'  to its knees for not supporting 'ssm',  A Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day was organized via social media by evangelical pastor, Mike Huckabee.  It was held August 1st, in response to the full blown assault leveled against Chick-Fil-A.   It was a monumental financial success as hundreds of thousands of patrons waited for hours in lines to show their support for the right to free speech, freedom of religion and the right to not be targeted for having a biblical viewpoint of marriage

The Dem. Party has always had  95% to  98% support from the Black Church.  The causes of the poor and needy has driven our support for them unconditionally for over 50 years.   Now it comes down to the Party asking us to compromise our core spiritual beliefs in solidarity with its new 'civil rights' social agenda.

WE ARE NOW BEING FORCED TO DECIDE,......  ARE WE LOYAL DEMOCRATS, STILL ALIGNED WITH THE PARTY' AND ITS PUSH FOR TOTAL RECOGNITION OF SAME-SEX MARRIAGE;  OR ARE WE CHRISTIANS,  HAVING TO ALIGN WITH OTHER CHRISTIANS (Evangelical, Catholics, Republicans; etc) FOR THE FIRST TIME TO STAND FOR GOD''S WORD?

She, Mrs. Savoli, quotes,  "As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”   We are being looked upon as traitors over some chicken!

Yes, my Christian brothers and sisters, our bible beliefs - according to Mrs Savoli, The Grio and the venerated Dr. MLK,Jr., we are bordering on, or in danger of, being sincerely ignorant and conscientiously stupid!.

Here are two articles.

But not to fear.  A 'Super Sister Saint' and Christian Blogger,  did not take this lying down.  Diane Hobbs of EEW Magazine 'showed up and showed out!'   Here is the link to her article in response.

Diane Hobbs Strikes Back

All I can say is "Praise the Lord, saints and pass some ammunition!"  saints of God, a line is being drawn in the sand.  Our Spiritual warfare just went into over-drive.  Who is on the Lord's side?  What do we believe?   What do we stand for?  Whose are we?

Student loans, worry over SS, healthcare, fear of the future is always a concern for us and our poor.  But now, these issues are aligned with the Obama Administration's total commitment to institute SSM as policy.    Everyone is going to have to decide - the era or time for fence sitting is over.   Its prayer time for sure.

The saints must stand with Chik-Fil-A.

If they cant afford buying anything from there - you must still pray for the owner and the corporation to stand on God's word in this matter.

I have only went there once in many years and was not so impressed with their food.  But when I heard how they are under attack for their stand on men marrying men because of the scriptures - well I have been there a few times in the last 2 weeks and encourage other Christians to do the same.

God bless you,  brother.  Stand for Jesus no matter who goes along.
