Mark 16:15-20
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and
is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And
these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast
out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
So
then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into
heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and
preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
"

So THE RAW QUESTION IS STILL: do you believe that GOD still
does the miraculous, and that HE can use you to perform it? Do you
believe in a GOD that still speaks Prophetically not only through His
written word, but vocally by the mouth of His servants today
(NOT JUST SERMONS)?

No metaphors or simple stuff; I mean the raw power of the HOLY GHOST
performing things that are beyond human ability.

Thank you ZealotX.
If he would have ASKED I would have gladly let him know that the family and friends who I tried to hang with in church (and our jurisdiction) were claiming salvation and not living the life of Christ. So, with that said if God had allowed me to hang with that clique I would be just like them believing that I could live any way I wanted to and yet claim salvation.
I guess listening to him I should have stayed hanging with them and now would have been a reprobate.
One of the young men who I grew up with just a couple weeks ago stood up at a church onvention (mind you this is our jurisdictional bishop's son) and stated, "I am a gay man and God made me this way. The church needs to realize that God loves us and that we have a right to serve Him as you do."
I guess Trevor is telling me that God should not have seperated me from him.
See, if people ASK questions instead of trying to flex their "spiritual muscles" they might get an understanding.
Proverbs says in all thy getting get an understanding.
Thank you again ZealotX for seeing, reading an understanding what I was saying in regards to what I posted.
Do we not need to have understanding of the scriptures before we go doing the imagination of our hearts... This stuff you have posted.. Most of it is not literal if you had understanding of the scriptures.
I see that you took your careful time to literally ignore the entire book of Acts, and the various testimonies throughout history. GOD have mercy on your ignorant soul.
I am not ignorant.. The Lord has let me be able to understand the scriptures as they are written, and not an interpretation from my mind or the minds of others..
I think the sad fact is that HE CAN DO IT, but we cannot receive it most of the time because we do not believe. People usually use the miraculous as proof so they don't believe until they see something. But at the same time miracles can be limited by lack of belief. Yeshua was not able to perform miracles all the time because of the unbelief around him. So the fact that it is technically possible is often thwarted by those who simply don't believe. And while many go to a church that doesn't necessarily mean they believe.
