The truth must be told....Only the truth will set men free...Jesus is the way the TRUTH and the life.

Matthew 23:15 KJV
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made , ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

The Scribes & Pharisees were always ready to persecute Jesus & the Apostles for their teachings. They constantly rejected the truth but wanted to tend to the lighter issues such as tithes & Sabbath. But have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment , mercy, and faith:

Jesus & the disciples taught on deception, taking heed and the Judgments to come. They also taught on repentance. They warned of false Prophets and the destruction that was to come. They taught the people how to live holy and why you should live holy. The disciples didn’t give options that lead people into the continuance of weakness and sin. Sin was not covered up and tolerated. Mercy was granted to those who sought after, followed Jesus and repented of their sins. Faith is an issue of believing and obeying the words of Jesus. Jesus and his Apostles gave us the whole package not leaving out anything. Why? So that we may be admonished, waiting and ready for what was to come.

This displeased the Scribes & Pharisees and thus they crucified Jesus & killed many of the disciples as well.

What do we see happening in our Churches today. Those that are suppose to be on the same page as God’s word are verbally crucifying the messengers of Christ. You have people within the church trying to cut off the arm, nose and leg of the body to prevent messages that cut like a two edged sword. You have those who try to muzzle the mouth or seal the lips of those that warn this generation of what is to come. That is a true hindrance to the work of Christ. We are commanded to preach the gospel of Christ and allow Jesus to draw people. Our over acceptance of things contrary to the Gospel are what has killed the proselytes. We need to teach people day one and not sit back and watch them go backwards and bring their unrepentant lifestyles into the church of God.

Our own personal ministries are not the drawing aspect. Christ does not need man’s Hip Hop or Christian comedy or Holy Circuses to draw people to himself. I heard a young girl say she would not want to go to church if she couldn’t listen to Hip Hop. What is that saying? It is saying I don’t want you Jesus I want hip hop.

We must be careful as the people of God that we don’t send the wrong message to our young people. Most of the fighting that I have witnessed here on BPN are those who don’t want to hear others preaching against sin, wickedness, judgments and such. We are all to be on the same page and preach what thus said the Lord. We must admonish one another daily as the scripture says.

Our young people are depending on us to set the standards of holiness and teaching and don’t need us to pacify their wrong doings. I mean, how much more time do we have to keep playing around with their souls. You don’t give children what they want but what they need. Their blood will be on the hands of those who chose not to cry aloud and SPARE NOT. The truth can be spoken in love but we are not to pacify and ignore SIN IN THE CAMP. If you wanna know why people don’t go to churches it is because of the sin within and they don’t see it as a place of refuge or a place of deliverance from the things that have them bound.

John 14:6 KJV

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Our youth will come by Jesus not by Hip Hop.

Seeing and reading, you and your husbands post, you guys have the right idea,i don;t care what nobody says, the only way to re-strengthen the church,is to take it back to it;s roots ,Home Church. After people of this experience(HOME CHURCH) find each other, then just as back in the day,we;ll try to move into a building again ,and get it right this time,no lights,no cameras,ALL ACTION!
Glad to see a few here understand our ministry and our position. Where we live everyone knows us and are welcome to fellowship with us just as any church. Because of the times we’re living in we are very careful on how we deal with the souls of others. On this road of Salvation we must work it out with fear and trembling and not messing around.

We do care what Jesus says which is why we listen to his voice when he speaks. If a young mother needs a handout many churches will turn her away but we can give them a word from the Lord and a buck. When we are approached by an elderly couple that may not smell the best our position is to embrace and administer love where as we have seen others shun and whip out the air freshener. If a church rejects a drug addict because that is not the type of person they want to deal with then those of us on the outside can make the time up close and personal and not push them out. (I have seen this done which is why I mentioned it)

I know that all churches are not this way but many have lost the basis of service to the lost. We seek to fill our churches with tithers and givers but not those who have needs. Their greatest need is salvation but I am afraid that many churches have strayed away from ministering salvation according to the scriptures. (true repentance) It is more important to me in this last day to make an impact on Lost Souls than it is to please church folk.

I Love God’s people but Jesus said that he has not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. I enjoy a good ole choir song just like the next person but I have to ask myself, What is more important?
Those that are in bondage, the homeless, the orphans , the widows..... which most churches at least in Texas have outreach ministries for and they do in Kentucky too, my brother in law says they do.
You are right, Kentucky does have churches with outreach ministries. I am sure churches in every State does. There is a Catholic church around the corner that gives things to the needy all the time.
