Okay here is a question that I have asked countless Bishops, Pastors and Ministers as well as other people who are members of the church and no one seems to have the same answer or they just don't know....Question: What happened to Lazarus after Jesus raised him from the dead? He was not present at the crucifixion of Jesus and he was not mentioned any more after being raised by Jesus.

He died, again, obviously.
He went on his merry way.......
He died again, as Brother James has stated..
You are talking about the end of his life. The brother was talking about during his life.
Well its apparent that Lazarus died. But I believe the question is being missed. What "happened" to Lazarus AFTER he was raised from the dead. i.e. Where did he go how was his second death....when where? why was he not mentioned again after his calling forth from the dead.
Lazarus was mentioned again at the anointing of Jesus 6 days before the passover in Bethany. THIS anointing done by Mary is mentioned in the gospel of John 12:1,2. this was in the house of Lazarus.
Now obviously in the process of time Lazarus died again, but lazarus was raised the 1st time to demonstrate Christ's sonship, to make believers, & to prove that God was with Him. Scripture does not always give us the ABCD of every act or answer every question we may have. but scripture gives us enough to be saved. for example it is not mentioned what happened to Joseph Christ's earthly father. he is not mentioned during the passion of Christ or at His crucifixion or thereafter. so we surmised he must have died. EVERY question may not be answered, but the gospel itself, and all of the roadmap of The Old Testament is enough that anyone can be saved.
Every detail of the events of those days will not be mentioned obviously. For example, most people don't know what the other Apostles did while Paul was running around with Barnabas and then Silas. I heard one preacher speak in a manner that hinted at them not being as active as Paul, when in fact that couldn't be any further from the truth! For starters, Apostle Thomas did more missions work than Paul did, traveling and laying the foundation of the Church as far as India.

Even if Lazarus didn't do a thing after, his very life was a testimony then, and still is today, for they came soon after not to hear JESUS speak, but just to look at the man who He raised from the dead, to see if it was real.
The tradition of the Church Father's - though not scripture is authoritative as these are some of the oldest literary documents considered "ancient". Tradition states Lazarus travelled from Judea to Cyprus, and planted a church, where he became the first bishop of Kition. The Church of Saint Lazarus in the modern city of Larnaca is apparantly built over the second tomb of Lazarus. He died of natural causes 30 years after his resurrection and faithfully serving the Lord, some believe with his other 2 siblings - the Mary mentioned in Jn 12 and his/her sister Martha. In 890 AD his remains were moved to Constantinople as a result of Byzantine emperor Leo VI's (Leo "the Wise") obsession for relics (relics were all the rage at this time - borrowing off previous generation's resurrections/revelations). Not so wise in fact, 300 years later crusaders sacked Constantinople and pillaged their relics, Lazarus' among them. The Franks then returned his remains to Marseilles, after which they were lost to history. Soooo . . . resurrected to be threatened with martyrdom, then planting churches with his sisters (not a bad ready made deacon board) until dying 30 years later of natural causes. Baby, think any of this will preach?
"Question: What happened to Lazarus after Jesus raised him from the dead? He was not present at the crucifixion of Jesus and he was not mentioned any more after being raised by Jesus."

Does scripture give an account of everyone who was at the crucixion? But it clearly does mention Lazarus after the his being raised from the dead, he actually became a target in his own right because he represented the power of God in Christ.

John 12:1-2, 9-11

Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. 10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; 11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
Re: What happened to Lazarus after Jesus raised him from the dead?

When it comes to this and other Bible questions, there are always those who tell people that the truth can be found in this-or-that non-Bible source (and of course the source they point to is one that supports thier own position on the matter). But, as the saying goes, one has to take off their own shoes before they can take a walk in someone else's moccasins, and similarly, when it comes to cases of The Bible vs. Tradition, one has to be willing to let go of the traditions of men in order to see the truth that is hidden in plain sight in the text of scripture.

Especially relevant here are Pr. 25:2 - Ps. 118:8 - Pr. 30:5-6.

LazarusComeForth.com has a free Bible study that only compares scripture with scripture in order to highlight some facts about Lazarus, the "friend" who "Jesus loved", that are often overlooked. You may want to weigh the testimony of scripture that the study cites and may find it to be helpful as it encourages bible students to take seriously the admonition “prove all things”. Hope it helps.

Scripture IS profitable for correction.
