WHAT'S ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES YOU'VE EVER SEEN AND WAS THERE A MORAL? If so what was it?
I think one of my all time favorites is APOCALYPTO.
It tells of life of the Mayan people at the decline of their culture. They thought that the more human sacrifices they performed - the better the prosperity of the people.
The movie follows young guy and his family when they are captured by an enemy tribe and how he escapes. And on this journey to the sacrificial Temple - they come across this little girls who's family and whole village is massacured and she begins to prophecy - not preach - she fortold what was going to happen to them by in really cryptic terms...
And it did happen -----> the Europeans arrived and that was the name of that tune. Kaput!

Moral:
No matter how great a nation is...God sets down one and raises up another.
When the Lord says it's over and your wickedness has reached to high heaven - thats it. Kaput.
