WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN CHURCH....

[HOPE - Psalm 43:5]

Over the years, I have heard many men and women in the holiness denominations say that women shouldn't wear pants in the church.

Were is the scripture to support the ideology that women shouldn't wear pants? If it is in scripture then I would have to ask why are men wearing pants? Did men wear pants in biblical times or did their wear something that covered their loins and then long robe like attire? I mean isn't that what you depict in your biblical plays? So why aren't the men being asked to wear similar apparel in the church to maintain a outward appearance of holiness? Why aren't they asked to not cut their hair (both facial and head)

What are the clothing designations for men in the holiness denominations.

After all, without holiness NO man/woman shall see God.....

I just left a ministry because of the pomp and sir-comstance because I watched for 4yrs us loose souls and hopefully some other ministry reached them because they would not even answer my phone calls ANYMORE I was sadden by this because I put my whole self into trying to reach them and keeping in touch with them, and it was about the how you should look no real deliverance because when you are truly delivered you know what to do no one can train you to that but the holy spirit, now the ministry can help when you get to that point, but the ministry should be anointed enough to know when the time is right God ges you t right where you are no soon no later, and in ministry we should have that discernment I pray for it because I don't like loosing souls, I GET UPSET!!!! I CRY FOR THE NATION, God has thrusted  me into ministry for real because I come from drug addiction, hustling the streets, dealing drugs, doing drugs the whole 100, I've been in ministry clean an studying to be approved for 9yrs and trust me pants or dress does not make a difference, me personally my mother had me in church since I WAS 2 YRS OLD so I know the right and the wrong but for those who need to just get to Christ we have to open our hearts and minds to just saving the souls, example I went to my first prison ministry a few wks ago and it was this young lady who was singing when we came in beautiful voice straight from God, her voice is her gift so do I need to tell her how to dress or how to use her gift for glory of god she her voice was like gospel and classical all at the same time, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO!!!!!!!!

I love your statement Holiness without No man/woman shall see God!!! A lot of change has taken place in our churches, and we as believers are to be cautious in our change. The thing that troubles me like as with you we have learned down through the years traditionalistic ways that are not Bible based. Nor have they been sought out, I always tell a person when studying the Bible, know these things, Who was being talked to, What is the bases of the conversation, and Why was it spoken. This concept will open a lot of eyes. Traditions God spoke to me was like Laws and the letter Killeth, but the Spirit giveth Life!! If we turned things around and dressed like they did back then the men would were dresses (as we call them now) and the women would were pants.. Most do not even know this because of the dress codes we now have. So we must be wise is our dressing not to be seductive, but clothes will not help one make it into Heaven for sure!! It is going to be some long dressed, head covered long sleeved, turtle necked people in Hell because the HEART was not right with God. It is a Heart thing folks, Nothing but the Pure in Heart Shall see God.

We are a Holiness Church. We do allow women to wear pants in the church. According to the Holy Bible women should not wear men clothing. Pants are permitted to wear in church.

it is because we have not been taught that jesus said i am more concern about your heart then your clothebecause nacked you came in to this world and nacked you shall leave man judge the outer apperance but god judged the heart.

Awesome word!!!! We must understand the dress, often I tell people to understand the Word of God one must be prayerful, know who was being talked to, where, why, and how. Not what the imagination of the mind does. I mean really men wear shoes, so do women, socks, underwear, coats, scarfs, gloves, hats, etc. those are symbolic of each other correct??? Get the knowledge. There shall be a great falling away due to not knitted together. we are quick to place a person into hell from the outer wear.. But the God I serve which created the heavens and the earth explains in His Holy Word it is a Heart Thing. you can wear a dress or skirt and still go to hell. Check the Heart Do you love unconditionally, are your reaching the lost, are you understanding one towards another or do you condemn everyone and anybody that does not do like you do even if you do not have solid scripture to justify it. Read on in that chapter the next verse clearly states do not mix forms of fabric. how many wear a wool suit with a silk or cotton blouse and a silk tie??????? check it out we have spend years arguing about baptism, and clothes, and have hindered many from coming to church. It is Harvest time if you want to come to my church with pants You are most welcome because it is not my church to begin with It is the Lords. I am more concerned about the soul than the clothing because once the soul and heart are right God himself will show you how to dress. That is why we go way tooo many dressed demons sitting right in church with a dirty heart, not speaking to bro or sister so and so. Be Ready when He Comes He is and has sent signs and wonders. I refused to be arguing over what to wear and miss the signs. I truly love all soooo very much.. Yes I do!!

I believe that is the reason the standards are their.Not to worship the standards as GOD but in obedience and to be protected because the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.Every man is draw away and enticed by his own lust.When lust is conceived it brings forth death.If we put more emphasis on getting to the heart of the matter or should i say person we would be alright.

I would love to ask you many questions concerning your biblical knowledge. I have no idea exactly what you are referring to in your ranch statement in your Latin comment, I guess we would call that chasing rabbits, Adam and Eve were naked while in the garden and when their eyes where opened they realized their nakedness and clothed themselves with fig leaves, then something happened. It was truely the first animal sacrifice, GOD sacrificed the first animal in the bible, for mans sake, as always. Please study the living word more, even the small things, such as this subject "clothes". Just as Simeon had lifted up Jesus and proclaimed, for thyne eyes have seen thy Salvation, is no different than you or I holding up our bible and proclaiming the same thing, it is the living word, and what was the word? JESUS. When Jesus said "come unto me" it means as you are. regardless of what you have or don't have.

Do you truly not understand what I'm talking about? I don't need clarity from you, what I need you to do is understand your own words. THE LIVING WORD, it's alive, it changes from minute to minute and hour to hour. If this is what YOU see in the garden (and I would hope God revealed this to you) great. If you are going by what someone taught you, then I'm sorry, like I said before. God doesn't call the quailfied, he qualifies the called. Jesus also said, many will come in my name, yet all they are, are wolfs in sheeps clothing. What I have found to be beneficial is sometimes saying nothing, is saying much, Little is much, when God is in it. One other thing, it may not seem big to you, but when you are writing about God, like you did in your first post, talking about the other gods, Egypt etc, don't capitalize the G. In the bible there is a difference in my God and other gods.

I see it as a casual wear but if  thats all one has and it is their best wear it..  I never seen it is the bible.  All I can say is that we must be more concern about the soul of a person.  What they wear is not going to get them into heaven.  Many denominations pick at the little things, we must look at the entire picture.  I beleive God looks at our hearts.  But, for me pants is a no no because it is not my best.  When I was in the streets I wore dresses so why give God less.
