YOU WILL NOY DIE..
You will not die but live to declare the works of the Living God” (Psalm 118:17)
The cares of life; bills, high cost of living, debt, betrayal, sickness, harsh economic conditions, peer pressure, fear and the lack of a clear vision of what the future holds and so much more sometimes weigh us down. These kinds of circumstances may weigh us down so much that we reach a point where it seems we can no longer go on. In other words, we get to the point of total hopelessness and may even begin to doubt the goodness and faithfulness of God. Our enemy, the devil, thrives at such times and that old lair will seize the opportunity to whisper to us such words as, “you have no reason for living, you might as well be dead” or “your situation can never change for the better you might as well throw in the towel”. Friend, that is a lie. The Word of God says “YOU WILL NOT DIE BUT LIVE TO DECLARE THE WORKS OF THE LIVING GOD”.
Jesus said, “The thief comes but to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Every thought of suicide, death, depression and giving up are not of God. Jesus said, “For this reason was I manifest that I may destroy the works of darkness”. Friend, God has wonderful plans for us. It is not His desire to destroy us. The Bible says, “The plans I have for you, declares the Lord are plans of good, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
The enemy wants us to give up. He wants us to think that our circumstances are hopeless but that is not true because in Jeremiah 32:27 God says, “Behold, I am God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?" Also, Luke, the Physician, who had seen God’s miraculous healing power concluded, “For with God, nothing is impossible”(Luke 1:37). Friend, God can do anything and because He is good, He will always do that which is for our good.
So quit listening to that old devil. Cast out every thought that is a lie. God loves you, He cares about you, He will heal you, He will restore you, He will provide for you, and what the devil meant for evil, God will turn it around for good in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
