If they are called by God (which I seriously doubt) then they should do what God tells them to do.
However, many of these young preachers are not taught, trained nor told to go out anywhere (and seeing that their spirit is not in the right place) they get attached to more "wrong and strange spirits) and they become worse than they are.
Some don't want to be taught, trained or sent. They believe that just because God gave them a "gift" that they should do as God has told them to do but that is not how it should be done.
You can't want to lead people and you don't want to be led. That is out of order. You MUST be under leadership that is leading you, teaching you and directing you in the right way.
Preaching, leading and evangelizing is more than knowing how to exegete scripture. It involves your life as well and if you can't "exegete" that properly then you are already in trouble. Just because grandma and mama said, "Boy you sho' can preach" it doesn't count.
There is a difference between having a gift and having an anointing to do a thing.
Yes, God can bless you but ONLY if you are obedient to His will and follow the precepts and examples set before you.
wow.. doc you are right on. i agree with ya.. i always tell many of the young preacher's that i associate myself with doc if you dont have a mentor, teacher then you are wrong... it takes more then the Hoopology to get some one saved... and if you love preaching.. it hurts you when you see other's that are in you same age group.. pimp the preaching field.. just because you can pull it.. doesnt satisfy the spirit.. we need more homilitics and hermenutics.. with our presentation.. its should be about sound doctrine then okay lets rise up with the HOOP... once again i agree with you Bishop lets be taught how to rightly exegete the word....
peace, and power....
Personally, I don't understand why they want to just jump out and start a church just because they preached a few good messages and folks dance in the aisles.
Preach some Word, some truth, some good old fashioned Bible and see who will be left dancing.
They get deceived by these "leaders" (and I say this lightly) who walk around like gods preaching motivational messages of promises filled with lies living large on other people's money claiming its wealth from God and they think THAT is what being a leader is all about.
I'm sorry to say they are sadly mistaken.
Noooooooooooooow Bishop, let's not throw a blanket out over all our young people. YouTube is always going to have something negative to be seen.

All our young ministers male and female or not out of order, and we should not glorify the ones that are.

Can we all just ever have something good to say, Bishop Smith, you could be my son, I pray blessings for you!!!

All babes do not grow at the same rate, some are orphans, some are adopted, and some are as you say just hard headed.

however Body of Christ, lets learn how to lift the Name of Jesus, and HE will draw all me unto HIM.

Quit talking about people, you don't want nobody talking about YOU!
The "gifts and "callings" are without repentance, and , unfortunately, a lot of our currently, much applauded and celebrated "stirring" preaching is purely "charismatic" and quite a bit of emulation OF THOSE SEASONED PREACHERS WHO ARE, RECEIVED, AND FOLOWED BY THE MASSES SO WIDELY ADMIRED, and it appeals to th emotions of people, to the soulish realm. "Impressive" preaching can be no more than a skill, and, if practiced enough, it can be learned by , pretty much anyone. I am, by no means, issuing a generalized consensus regarding all preachers or preaching, but I am making a relevant observation. It is the "character"and life experiences that produce the maturity and wisdom to handle the gifts and all the assured trials and seasons of perplexity, that accompany them that determine and prove the 'readiness" to pursue ministry under a mantle. Scripture admonishes us to be mindful of releasing "too much power/authority to a "novice", because of the potential for "shipwreck", derailment, and the intense overwhelming of the individual.Age has it's benefits, even though we have witnessed many "aged fools", but it's through the process of living life, and over-coming hardships, learning problem resolution, and how to "go in and out" while glorifying God, and walking worthy of one's calling, that gains us wisdom to better assure longevity. We are also admonished to make "full proof of our ministries, and to "wait on it" as well. There are no absolutes concerning spirital matters, because God is sovereign, and He can still do what He wants, When He wants, how He wants, and through whom He wants.
First, I am NOT called to be a "sweet" saint on my way to glory.
THAT TIME IS OVER!!!
God is calling for MEN and WOMEN to stand up and stop allowing the church to be infiltrated with mess and foolishness and be BOLD SOLDIERS and speak what the WORD says.
If you believed I meant ALL then that is on you ma'am however with all due respect (because you said I could be your son) I don't do the pitty-pat gospel.
I said what I meant and I won't make any apologies for it.
ALL the prophets of the Word (and I am not a prophet) spoke the TRUTH about SIN and the church needs to do the same. We are not talking about people we are talking about the sin, shame and wrong that the church is ALLOWING and using the Word of God to cover it up.
The more I read the Word (and my God have I been searching those scriptures like NEVER before) the more I see we are FAR away from where we need to be.
And I for one and tired of the foolishness. When you say something the first thing they say is, "You judging me" then want to cower like some child so they will be left to their foolishness. Personally, if I was a pastor I wouldn't allow more than half these boys to be preaching under me. You can preach but it won't be under my leadership and shaming me.
NO leadership NO covering NO accountability and NO relationship and then want to get up and preach something to somebody?
It's time out for starting a church "just because" you got personality, looks and that killer smile.
The Body of Christ is at a stand still because we have TOO MUCH SIN IN THE CAMP and nobody is sounding the alarm!!!
Call it what you will but what did the Word say?
II Timothy 4:2-5, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine; For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables; But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."
Now, start preaching SIN and SHAME and see how "popular" you become!!!
You can't preach mess over mess what does that leave?
MORE MESS!!!
How can you have the anointing and never been through anything?
Show me in scripture what prophet or leader in the Word got something for nothing?
Call it judgment.
Call it hatin'.
But I guarantee you one thing soon and very soon it is going to be tested.
Just be sure you ready for the test.
The reason the body of Christ is at a standstill is because we have to many people that are posing to be God. The reason that you, dont understand what the Lord is doing is because the Lord spoke to me and not you. We are to caught up on tradition and what you think a Pastor should be. There is no where in the WORD that an age is specific. If you would spend as much time in prayer as you spend trying to invalidate someone else anointing, then you would probably see what the Lord is doing. God has gifted you with a gift as well, there is no need for you to be Jealous. It is not the Spirit of God. #1 Standing in judgment. The Lord will use you as soon as you move from the realm of trying to imitate your grandparents. Learn to embrace the anointing.

The bible says study to shew thyself approved.

Remember Haters=Elevators

See Me At The Top!!!
Well Amen lights, pews, and walls.

I love this what you said "If you would spend as much time in prayer as you spend trying to invalidate someone else anointing"

we have too many people today with their eyes and thoughts on what someone else is doing instead of it being on Jesus.

Amen Pastor Amen
I totally agree with this response. I recently experienced judgement in my current place of worship because I admitted to dealing with homosexuality and was removed from the Praise and Worship Ministry. I've never experienced such treatment in the church. I respect my current Pastor, but I pray that he and many others will know, the church is a place for people to develop and grow. Not to be rediculed and judged, for we are all sinners, saved by God's grace, not man's standard!! Pray for me in this journey!
He preaches like an old school preacher to be so young.....
