When a church is planted, you want to bring in ministers from around the country however the struggle is the budget of the newly planted church that cannot give thousands in honorariums. Our church has provided hotel accom. nice honorariums but the major struggle is travel expences. How do you say to someone, I want you to come, you are the anointed gift we need for the region, but if you can come we'll take care of you without offending them, because you are a church plant? I think this might help some other plants.

Bishop God bless ya real good. My question I want to ask just to get more clarity is "what is the purpose of inviting a budget deficit?" Do you have quality people that can come and seed into the new work? Are you looking to make a big promotion event and hope to draw a crowd on name recognition or what is the new church plant strategy? I am not sure if a guest speaker, expenses out the door and new ministry go together.....
Maybe big name person understands upfront you need them to help you get some funds going and you all have the financials worked out before date and hotels, food, limo, radio spot, special music fees, lights.....

Just wanting more clarity on question?

Great response. I am not refering to a BIG NAME so to speak, I just thought that maybe we can give each other strategies to invite other ministry gifts in. We talk about "fellowshipping" and we say "let's get together and connect" but often times the problem is when I want to develop a relationship with you and I'm in NC my ministry may not be able to afford to bring you in from NY whereas your ministry will invite me in and...
...I hope this clarifys somewhat. Just want to get some strategies out there to help plants. We always want to walk in a spirit of excellence without "going in the red". I know how our ministry has handled this but I would like to hear other ideas.
Bishop thanks for the add -
Okay I see now and know the importance of what you are saying and your heart for fellowship. I have several friends that I try to keep close and when I need to fellowship and build that financial base from the sharing of Kingdom building I know who I can call. I try to avoid the excessive taxation on the ministry because of "bro and sis. big name". But when I want a major move and a city-wide shaking of all atmospheres - I get the big guns to come in.......wow. Usually just one right service under the anointing of God with the right ministry of Grace and budget and breakthrough all at the same time. So prayerfully the new plant has to have timing, grass root support and the sho'nuff Holy Ghost impartation for success.
Thats what I'm talking about. That is exactly how we do it. I try to develop friendships with anointed men and women of God that will come with a word to shake the house without draining the ministry. Some come from across the country "At their own expense" and tear us UP(Of course we bless them when they get here). When I go there I go "At my own expense" just to bless the ministry. this is the essence of REAL friendship and relationship. You really hit the nail on the head. Its so many that try to impress everyone by pulling in the "Big Guns" at the wrong time. When my house needs a move I always call on a friend.
Thank you for that response.
Don't get upset but I was born and raised in Philly so...
...Go Eagles lol

If you would like a break on Sunday morning or Sunday Night, or simply host a 2-day Revival or a Church Conference. I would love to come and minister @ your church in one of those services. During these difficult economic times my ministry has decided to cover a generous portion of the travel expenses, I ask that your church or ministry provide a love offering from the heart. Pastor my desire is to be a blessing to your church or ministry.
