Finding our place with God and this world, often times is a road full of hard times, and trials. Our struggle with salvation and the ultimate question all Christians have, “What does have for me to do?” Finding the balance between living in this world, yet not becoming a part of its ungodliness is truly a battle in itself. Many become to seemly spiritual that they forsake the world around them, or they enduge themselves so much in the world that they loose their relation with Jesus. Though we are not to become like the world, meaning its acceptance of most sin, we have to remember that God gave us dominion over it, and put us in charged of its care.

Each Christian, at one time or another has wondered where their place was with God. It is the quest to find our calling in life through the rat race of humanity. Each one of us wants our lives to be for a greater purpose. Feeling that there is indeed more out there than people realize, the drive to move forward is unquenchable. The problem lies with many forgetting the passion and falling in their glory. Meaning what used to burn in our hearts as a fire, if not careful can turn into something selfish, and self seeking. Often we get so tied into the “gotta do” list that we forget what were doing it for. Loosing the passion and headed for the fall. Remember God walks before us, not behind. He prepares the way, not us.

Do you know the place God has for you today? Ask yourself this, do I often try to guild God into what I desire, or am I allowing him to truly guild me? Have I submitted my life so fully that I would do anything God asked, or is their a limit to what I will do for God? If so, have I lost part of our passion already? Ministry comes in many forms, none any greater than the other. Perhaps if we were to stop and really consider just maybe, I am already where God wants me. Where else better to put a soldier than in the mist of the battle? Do you feel like this is you? Than give God the glory for your suffering, for he put the sword in your hands and enabled you to do a mighty work. Here is the big thing, if you want to stop getting beat down by the enemy, pick up the sword. It does no good lying on the ground.

As a soldier we must keep the sword sharpened. Stay in the Word, and mediate on the things of God continuously, fellowship with those that love the Lord wherever that may be. The deeper the walk with God, the stronger and sharper that blade becomes. Reading in (Proverbs 27:17), Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. In (Hebrews 4:1) for the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (James 1:2-4)
my brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (
Matthew 24:13) But he who endures to the end shall be saved. (Romans 8:31)
what then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
