How much do you know of the Holy Bible? The Christian faith started upon the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, before such date, the title of Christian was not in existence yet. Thousands of years had passed before the birth of our savior Jesus Christ: the question is; have you ever studied them? I was asked the other day to quote” teach me something I don’t know”, and this really got me thinking. There is so much to be learned within the text of the Holy Bible. Things that show us the biggest questions we as God’s people have. Things that answer the when, where, and why things happened,

Questions that even puzzle many today, are answered clearly in God’s Word, but seemly only found by those that quote” seek him and all truth”. Have you ever wondered why things such as the flood happened? Why God would set out to destroy this world? Why was Noah and his family saved? We have learned in church and Sunday school that the world had gone extremely evil in those days, and that Noah was found righteous in God’s eyes, and thus the answer to why he was saved, but have you ever dove deeper into a better understanding of what was really happening in those days?

As many of us have learned there was a war in Heaven, and a third of the angels were thrown out of Heaven, due to their rebellion against God. But do you know why? Where did they go after that? Looking into Genesis chapter 6 we read – When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (meaning the angels) saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days- and also afterward- when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. (Meaning a mix of both human and angel) They were the heroes of old, men of renown. The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created- and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground- for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

Many say that God had to purge the earth of this race and generation for in it was bred ungodliness and rebellion. They claim that Noah’s genealogy( blood-lines) was pure and without this mark, and due to this he was saved. Some say they still exist and are the answer to why such bad things happen. Some say the war still goes on today between these fallen angels and their offspring, battling the Holy angels and the saints. These things I leave for you to descern. Understanding this topic is not spoken of much within the church walls, but nevertheless it is indeed scripture. For those that seek truth, they will study each and every word inspired by God-amen. They will dig deep into the hidden mysteries of God and he is faithful to teach them.
