A Morning Planned For My Husband...Gone BAD!!!

Today I woke up feeling great. i decided I would go into the office late and spend the morning with my husband. Since he works 3rd shift, I decide to go shopping to make him his favorite breakfast, and he would awake to the smell of my cooking (he does ALL the cooking).

I shower, get dressed, head out to the store. I decide to make a stop in TJ Maxx, just to see what summer dresses they have out. It is 9:35. It feels nice to be able to walk around the store, no hurry, try on some dresses, hey I have a total of 11 dresses to try on, hey I think I have lost some weight, boy it sure is taking me a long time to try on these dresses. This is great. I look at my clock...12:10pm!!! Where did the time go??? I rush home, passing the grocery store, I say I will just find something in the frig to cook, the hubby calls me as I am pulling up in the drive way. As I enter the house, he is entering the shower...I go to the frig to find something to cook my wonderful husband...NOTHING!!! i go into the bathroom..."Honey, we don't have any breakfast food" (he does the shopping), he says "I thought you were going to the store???" I find a few eggs to fry, some grits and toast. As he sits to eat breakfast, I look at the clock, 1:05pm, I need to be at the office at 2:00pm. He ask if I am going to eat, I say no. he has a sad look on his face. I patiently wait for him to finish breakfast and I ask him to go into the bedroom with me while I dress for work. I see the disappointment on his face. Just as I am putting on my shoes to dart out of the door, He grabs me and says..."The next time you take a morning off to spend with me, can you plan to spend it with me???" I promise I will.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!
