Question...
In Mark 8:27-30, Jesus ask His disciples who do the people say He is and who do they say He is. Then, in John 18:33-34 as Pilot ask is He the King of the Jews, Jesus ask him if he is saying what the people say or what he (Pilot) believes. Is this question in both scriptures being asked for the same reason? Did Jesus give Pilot the opportunity to confess with his mouth who he believed Jesus to be? And in what types of situations today, do you see Jesus asking us the same question?
