"...The men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them" (Genesis 19:16, NIV).

When you are in trouble, God will grab you by the hand and lead you out. His love for you will move Him to help you, no matter what is going on around you.
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up" (James 4:10).

Humility will cause God to promote you. Pride will cause you to fall.
"Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place" (Psalm 66:12).

It is God's desire that you be financially prosperous. If you are struggling in the pit of poverty, meditate on God's prosperity promises until you are established in them. Then speak the Word of God in faith and watch it rearrange your situations and circumstances.
"...the just shall live by his faith" (Habakkuk 2:4).

"And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord..." (Jonah 3:1-3).

When God tells you to do something, do you immediately act on His Word? Delayed obedience is disobedience. Be quick to obey Him.
"...I will cause them to walk by the rivers of water in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble..." (Jeremiah 31:9).

God will direct your footsteps so that you won't stumble. It is important for you to yield to His guidance in every decision you make.

"And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure" (Isaiah 33:6).

God's Word is His wisdom. When you allow the wisdom of God to direct your life, you will have stability and strength in life.
