TONGUES OR POLICIES (Part 2)

Why is it that the church is not affecting and changing the lifestyles of our societies? My Answer: The world is speaking in terms of policies while the church is speaking just in tongues. And the truth is, Policies are stronger than tongues. Tongues empower and edify the church spiritually but does not change the society. Speaking in tongues must culminate to speaking in terms of policies. Abortion and homosexuality is being legalized in America and other parts of the world and the church is speaking in tongues in buildings thinking these policies will change. If the church does nothing, a time is coming when abortion, homosexuality and lesbianism will be a normal life. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. knew racial discrimination will not be abolished in America by speaking just in tongues. When he moved beyond just speaking in tongues and began speaking in terms of policies, racial discrimination was abolished and the concept of Universal Human Right was enacted December 10th, 1948. Don’t forget; I speak in tongues more than you all but let go beyond speaking in tongues and propose/impose policies that will transform our communities and societies to heaven on earth. We need Men of God like Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. who will see beyond the pulpit to the broader concerns of the society. Evil only triumph when good men do nothing. Where is the church?
