Should Deacons Be Key In Starting Strong Ministries
Should Deacons be instrumental in starting strong ministries within their church? We were given the command to preach the gospel within our commuity and to the uttermost part of the earth. So what are we doing in the realms of outreach ministries, relationship & personal evangelism? Are we diligent or working hard enough to assist in ministries that glorify God and bring his children who are lost?
Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV)
11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Acts 17:26-27 (KJV)
26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
