Is it Fruit or Fruits? (Gal 5:22,23)

Odd how some will read the singular word then apply plural to the rest of the text...Like the orange you open the peel one orange yet so many slices ... each attribute inside the sweet fruit of Ruach reveals God's desire for us how to live or co exist.

The fruit of Ruach (Spirit) contains Love - Unique among the other attributes it is commanded from the days of the ancient Israelites al the way to the days of Y'shua. love each other, love our selves ( seems to be the hardest one) and even love our enemies, as much as many love to criticize Israel, if an Israeli is bleeding on the side of the road a Palestinian would kick him, but if a Palestinian is bleeding on the side of the road an Israeli will take him to the hospital .

Joy - Even in harsh times, keep a smile on .. why because it upsets the devil so much !

 Peace (Shalom) in both Greek and Hebrew there is a plethora of meanings ut in this rendering it means to bring order from chaos !

Patience - One person once said the best way to get patience is to become a doctor. ... but really this is an endurance test . friend of mine went through a stress test I asked if they studied hard .. in Mathew the "stress Test result is posted "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Kindness- Have a cup of kindness juice, Not at all like our modern meaning it does not mean be nice, rather this word in Aramaic implies as it does in Hebrew to act for the good of the situation., NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT THAT MAY BE!

 Goodness - The word refers to a high moral character. always display excellence and virtue that is never diminished by circumstance

Faithfulness- two words .. total commitment

 Gentleness- being balanced, giving a sense of solidity and maturity as to inspire calm even in rough situations.

Self Control - to have mastery over this word appropriately ends this list. MS (Master of Self )  Many are tempted to view these individually, praying for one slice of the orange, but this fruit is meant to be eaten whole! The authors of the Renewed Covenant were Jewish men who who would view this world through Hebrew eyes. A man, bis family, his community, his nation and His God were one synergy in his mind eye, to pray for one slice is to pray for the entire orange so to speak, bet you cant eat one slice any way ...
